Thanks for the birthday wishes all! :D Two observations..... 1. I hope they have not restarted the effort to build a 3D virtual Freddie. I do not want any Freddie holograms or 3D digital images. I find this ghoulish and there is no way it will be like the real experience. >> My guess is this may be one of Brian's 3D book projects. I sure hope so. That would be great. 2. I found this reference interesting -- "1970-1991: the Freddie Queen Years". Perhaps it has been in use by the Queen team for years but I never noticed it before. 1. No chance. It won't happen. It is most likely for either a Brian 3D book (they already had some 3d Cards made of Queen concerts that were released...maybe a sequel to that. OR also perhaps as a new way to do memorbilia. On QZ Brooks stated they are working on the next gem of a concert from the archives that will be on par with Rainbow AND other future projects long term fans have been waiting for so I'd bet it would be for that. 2. It's definitely not an official term but unofficially although they usually say 1970-1995 as in the Made In Heaven album (even though Freddie passed 4 years prior). It's actually usually broken up into Queen and Queen +. It'll definitely cause a few stomachs to turn....but I have no problem with what Brian said though. The titling gives me cringes as it leads you to believe that Brian is saying Adam is a better singer. When in fact it says Adam can easily match Freddie's higher range. It was all about being able to perform the songs in the proper key. . Well duh....Adam is a tenor, Freddie is a baritone (or bari-tenor). Freddie's lower range is stronger than Adam's. Adam can go higher than Freddie. Higher doesn't mean better. *shrug* Nothing to see here And yes Adam obviously takes care of his voice better than Freddie which is why Adam's voice holds up much better during tours. MUCH different time and lifestyle tbh.

And another article: 100.7 WZLX @wzlx Did Brian May just say @adamlambert is better than Freddie Mercury? cbsloc.al/16tzcQg pic.twitter.com/bjRHc4RhQq Excerpt: “He can sing higher than even Freddie could, in a live situation.” It’s that last line (starts around 4:23) that is sure to make some fans’ blood boil and spawn headlines like “Brian May Said Adam Lambert is Better than Freddie Mercury!” around the world. Listening to the whole interview in context, Brian is simply complimenting his singer’s outstanding vocal abilities – which, let’s get serious, is a fact. Like Lambert or not, the man can sing.
