Lost 1 pound, but it is nothing to brag about. I am having a hard time losing weight. The doctor wants me to go gluten free to see if it will stop the body pain I am feeling and help with the weight loss. Also, she wants me to drink organic tart cherry juice (2 tablespoons a day in 8 oz. of water.) She said some of her patients have been having positive results with joint pain from the organic tart cherry juice. I am willing to try anything. If it works, I will let you know. See you next week. Will let you know how gluten free I am. That is harder than dieting.

My favorite place to check out natural cures is www.earthclinic.com/ You can search and see who is using cherry juice and for what. A quick look thru seems to have several people that say it helps. I use Bend Again MSM flakes every couple of days in a juice mix or chocolate milk and it helps my joints quite a bit too.

ahhhhhhh -- totally crazy work week and I forgot to check in yesterday. I was down .6 - which was more like 3.6 because I had gone up after weigh in last week after a couple of big cheat days due to events. so I'll take my .6 and be happy about it and hope for better next week

Thanks Jablea. I will look up Bend Again MSM and find where to buy it. I will try any and everything for this pain. They won't give pain pills to anyone in Florida anymore unless you have been operated on. I wish they would pass the marijuana law. I still want to try a doobie before I die. They say it helps pain also.

I get the LeSante stuff but it's expensive and clear across the country from you www.lesantenutrition.com/category-s/1819.htmYou might like the Kala Health MSM from Amazon, it's got great ratings too and according to the Bend Again guys it all comes from them - use Q3's link to benefit Adamtopia.
Most instructions will say mix with juice but it is still pretty bitter. If I didn't have my EcoDrink vitamins to mix it with I would use chocolate milk (suggested by my dad and he was right). My actual drink mix is: 1/2 packet EcoDrink vitamins (use the water bottle that comes w/purchase at Costco) 1/10 packet Greens to Go (Apple Melon flavor) 1 scoop of MSM flakes (1/2 teaspoon) 3/4 teaspoon of D-Mannose Powder (buy from Amazon an amazing fix & prevention for UTI infections) Shake and drink. I usually have it every other day because I'm pretty pain free right now. I wouldn't use the D-Mannose Powder every day if I had it more often.

Hi all, I neglected checking in trying to catch up work before surgery. (Monday) iI had hoped to lose 10, but only dropped 3.5 so far. But at least eating healthier. The weather has been really nice the last week and getting out more. I have to say I was "inspired" by Adams workout picture. ????. I also adopted a puppy so I' be out getting longer walks as she gets older. She 's a two month old German Shepard Border Collie mix.

Isn't it great how we are "inspired". I have the recent workout pics of Adam on my ipad and flip through them when I need help during that last 15 mins on the treadmill !

I was doing really well and lost about 2 lbs until my beloved 14 year old Bichon Frise had to be put down on Monday. Since then with all the upset and lack of sleep I've gain back about 1. 8 lbs. I feel exhausted and dehydrated so it might just be fluid retention.
It amazing how much a dog becomes a part of the family and losing one feels so devasting.
