Thanks to adamrocks, who finds and posts here tweets of people selling tickets, even when they aren't addressed to @adam_tickets, I was able to buy a GA ticket to London a couple of weeks ago, and just now I secured the second one, for my friend who's coming with me. So thank you so much, adamrocks!
By the way, both tickets are from American Adam fans, who sold them at cost.

Roger Taylor of legendary rock gods Queen knows a thing or two about longevity.
His iconic band has been rocking stages and blowing away audiences since the 1970s. But Roger admits now that he never saw Queen continuing, after the death of famed lead singer Freddie Mercury — but with new frontman Adam Lambert now on-board, the future is nothing short of brilliant. In the upcoming issue of Classic Rock Magazine, Roger expressed the truth: that Queen thought of calling it quits after Mercury’s death in 1991. “I understand people who say: ‘There is no Queen without Freddie,’” he admitted. “‘Just leave it be…’ “Because that’s how we felt,” Roger added, “following his death. All three of us said: ‘Right, that’s the end of the band…’ “But the band just didn’t seem to die.” Queen guitarist Brian May then added: “Even though both Roger and I were adamant that it was over, it never went away.” Meanwhile, May announced only days ago his plans to launch his own official YouTube channel in 2015. Launching on January 1st, May revealed that the site will contain new content, as well as diving deeply into his other interests and obsessions in life — including science, and animal welfare. “The Brian May Channel is designed to carry anything on film or vid that relates to me outside Queen,” he wrote, “to replace all the bits and pieces of music video that are currently around out there with new highest quality versions, and fill in the gaps; and to cover under one umbrella the other areas that I operate in… “Stereoscopy, Astronomy (eventually!), and Animal Welfare and Rights issues. Each of these areas will have their own section on the Brian May Channel. But the intended pivot of it all is the entirely new part that we’re calling Brian Talks.” Brian added: “This section will carry current ‘to the camera’ comments, updates and communications, and I’m hoping it will be a proper ‘voice’ for me, an outlet, as well as a way of glueing together the rest of the channel.” |
