If google translate, and another translate.... is correct...in Italian "ano"....well not exactly what I thought it would be! (anus) For a guy picking up twitter followers...not sure this is a smart or clever comment to post. My sense of humour is not matching his. ALTHOUGH "ano" with the little squiggly line above the "n" means "year"..... ???? Año is Spanish for year, I think it's anno in Italian. My take was that he was just making a rhyme --- Italiano, finaleano --- my dirty mind didn't kick in!

ALTHOUGH "ano" with the little squiggly line above the "n" means "year"..... ???? Guess twitter does not let you put the squiggly line. (edit:As per a post above that is Spanish for year, not Italian. It is also not the end of a year???) I wonder if the fellas "in helping" Adam with his Italian... think it is a big joke... I am deleting my yellow translation to err on the side of keeping me happy, when all things Adam should be happy right now!

I think finale-anno means the end of the year, I'm sure he just missed one 'n', nothing more.
ETA/// Oh, I see the others have already chipped in:)))
ETA2/// That 'squiggly' line is called tilde, and is not used in Italian, only Spanish and Portuguese, as far as I know.

Adam Lambert wants to keep Freddie Mercury's 'memory alive' without replacing him as he joins QueenJan 06, 2015 16:32 By Rebecca Pocklington The former American Idol star joined Queen for an incredible New Year collaboration - and was showered with praise throughout(51 seconds of Don't Stop Me Now from the NYE performance)Adam Lambert has insisted he'll never replace Queen legend Freddie Mercury as he joins forces with the band, but instead hopes to keep his "memory alive". The former American Idol star joined the rock band for an incredible performance for New Year, starting a hugely popular collaboration for the artists, and has been showered with praise ever since. But the singer insists he never tries to imitate or replace Freddie - who died in 1991 at the age of 45 - and his main motivation for singing with Queen is to keep his idol's wonderful music alive. The 32-year-old rocker told the new issue of Classic Rock magazine: "There's never going to be another (Freddie), and I'm not replacing him. THAT performance "That's not what I'm doing. I'm trying to keep the memory alive, and remind people how amazing he was, without imitating him. I'm trying to share with the audience how much he inspired me." Find out more about Adam Lambert here.Queen guitarist Brian May has praised Adam's vocal abilities, and says he is the first singer he has worked with since Freddie's passing who can perform all of their songs. He added to the mag: "Adam is the first person we've encountered who can do all the Queen catalogue without blinking. He is a gift from god." Drummer Roger Taylor is also blown away by Adam's talent, adding: "(His voice is) one in a billion ... He's incredibly musical, and we certainly take anything he says quite seriously." Adam Lambert - new hit star Queen's concerts still feature Freddie, as they use video recordings of him singing on certain tracks, and Brian admits it's important for them to pay tribute to their friend without getting too nostalgic. The musician said: "We've been on tour in the States with Adam, and Freddie's already there because of the writing, and the original performances that we model the show on. But he's there also in a much more tangible way, because we use video footage. It's nice to feel he's part of it, without being swamped by nostalgia. I think we tread that line quite tastefully and carefully." Queen and Adam Lambert kick off their European arena tour next week on January 13 at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. After touring as the frontman of Queen, the latter is set for a much higher payday on next year’s list.
