Yes, I was surprised too. Maybe he's getting increasingly frustrated over the years? I wonder if he attends the performances. I would assume he would be there. I know you have been to the live shows. Did you watch the show later on television? Did you find the sound a lot different?

But you know what, if he has perfect pitch & most people don't, he really needs to just cool it! And why did he not know that the Footloose remake was all countrified, when he was criticizing Maddie? She is not one of my favorites, but she did choose a song that was Country in the Footloose remake!  |

Today's "Reality Check" with Michael Slezak and Melinda Doolittle -- with a mention of Adam while they are discussing Joey's performance of "Mad World" on Idol last week (preview: Michael and Melinda think Adam "owns" the song, but still like Joey's version). Sad for the bottom 3. Glad Rayvon made it through but maybe he should have taken the advice of the mentors. I'm not on Jlo's side most of the time but I think what she said to Rayvon was on track. With the way things have been going, I fear once again for next week for the better singers.

Rayvon seems to be so stubborn. His edit was not good tonight either. Predict he will go home next week.
Hope Joey's fans can keep her in after that bad performance. But OMG, I would pay someone to get rid of Daniel or Qassim!! :PLoved Jax and Quentin.
Hate the fact that Jax got so much criticism for her arrangement, when her vocal was SOOOOO good! Poor girl must be as confused as hell! "Change it up" "No, don't change it up!" "That was too much!" "Sit at the piano" "No, loved when you kicked the piano bench!"
But "Daniel is soooo cute!" Is it possible Borchetta wants Dabniel to win?
Clark was good but not great. I certainly did not get "goosies." If anyone gave me "goosies" it was Quentin. However, I do feel like Quentin needs to do something different next week & consider what Harry said about a setlist for a real show. Every song's dynamic can not be the same, no matter how cool that dynamic is! Adam (and David Cook) both said they chose their songs each week like a setlist! It's a good idea!

I have to mute Daniel. I also think it's unfair that he is always the first one who is announced as saved. He doesn't have to deal with the nerves that the rest of them do as they sit and wait. I know he is young but it was his choice to audition at 15 and that shouldn't give him any advantage over the others. I can't recall the name of the girl that they picked on last year, she was from the south, but it seems like they have chosen Jax for that roll this season. Sadly, I think it will eventually get in her head.
ETA Boy George was great!!!
