This is the Discussion Thread for American Idol Season 14. Hopefully, it will be much better that Season 13!!! Adam will show up to be a judge Jan 8th 15th and hopefully be on this season, as he has been on the last several years!! Hope he will have some new music out by then.  Fixed!!!

He is actually judging on the 15th. On the 8th, Idol has a feature on contestants that have become Superstars, and Adam is one mentioned.

The first episode of S14 was just shown in Singapore. Sadly I was quite bored....zzzz
I guess after Adam's judging episode, I may only watch the finalists...

Where's Happy?!! I am ready, Gurl!! OK, I am excited about 2 male contestants for the first time since Adam. I mean, not crazy in love with, like Adam. But I really like these two guys. Just wondering, did any of Adam's picks from his judging episode get through Hollywood week? They showed a short clip of Adam giving a golden ticket to Maddie. I can't remember if she was really one of his picks though. She got through to the top 24 in a dramatic way -- she was eliminated and then the judges decided maybe they had made a mistake and she won a sing-off with another girl. Another girl who got through (Shi) was one that Adam said no to as he thought she was not emotionally ready. I've been reminded to come and hang out here with all you AI fans! I am hoping for good things this season -- seems like they've got some funk going down! The guy with the nose ring and unique fashion sense seems like an interesting dude, but what will the audience think? I have a bit of a soft spot for Nick who is 29 and this is his last chance. That part reminds me of Adam's journey and you can see that Nick has a whole lot more experience than the young'uns. Speaking of young -- that 15 year old Daniel is mighty cute, has personality, is very musical and seems comfortable on the stage in front of a crowd. He might just appeal to the younger crowd and the motherly types! And speaking of musical, Tyanna blows me away -- she reminds me of Janelle Monae. I'm quite excited about a lot of the contestants, but I don't have a favourite yet. |
