This is where the twitter save gets ugly. This week it's Joey........... next week likely another polarizing contestant.......... maybe Quentin. SMH With so many polarizing people being put up against the nice guy, Rayvon......... and the twitter vote being like a final two vote, where you can vote against someone you dislike i.e. the polarizing contestant, by voting for the middle of the road Rayvon, there is no way the polarizing kids survive. Oh.......... and Harry's an ASS!  |

Finally watched! Ugh, Harry needs to go away! And I am not just talking aout his total misinterpretation of Quentin! His ego is soooooo big he can't even like anyone's arrangements. "I wish i could have mentored" blah, blah, blah!! Tina, blowhard is the perfect word to describe him!
This week's save was the first one, that I feel, not having a full West Coast vote hurt one of the contestants. I'll bet Quirky Joey has a lot of quirky Cali fans. I was so sad because I couldn't do the save because i was driving to LA & stuck in traffic! :(
My prediction for bottom 2 next week are Quentin and Tyanna. I think Rayvon will be safe this week. They gave him a very good edit!
I think Clark, Nick, and JAX have a lock on Top 3! But there is a good chance that 3 of the most dynamic performers of this season, will not be on the tour! :(

The Q vs Harry dust up reminds me of Adam's AMAs. A lot of the same reactions. Q did a nice interview after the show, very well spoken.
Another problem for Q is that one young black man in dreads looks much like another young black man in dreads, especially when their names both start with Q, and he's getting blamed for the other's antics like the mike thrown down too.
His Sound of Silence was wonderful. Hubby didn't see the dustup and really liked it and neither of us heard pitch issues during it so none of the judges comments made sense.

Uggghhhh!! Just read that Bing predicts a Rayvon/Quentin bottom two. They correctly predicted the Joey/Rayvon B2 last week.
How can the TPTB not realize the twitter save is stripping this season of every unique talent one by one.
If it ends up a Clark/Nick final 2, I will only be watching if Adam is on.

I must say I'm getting on the love train for Quentin's voice. Check out his Sound of Silence studio version. I love his voice too! This may sound crazy, but his voice reminds me of Katy Perry. People either love it or hate it & many say she can't sing, but she can! She has a strong vibrato, that i think many hate. I feel Quentin also has a strong vibrato at times. As a matter of fact, this might be what people are saying are his "pitch issues" which I happen to love! BTW, if anyone was a Jena fan last year, she just completed an album & will have info soon! Another polarizing voice, that people either loved or hated. I really love that Borchetta said that "polarizing is a good thing!"  |
