Has an Idol winner ever lost their label before the following season ended? i don't even think Lee had that happen? Caleb is no longer with Interscope! Do you know if Caleb quit or was let go? I saw the interview where he was talking about lack of support from the beginning. I'm not really surprised because his style of music is not current. It is a harsh business. You don't "quit" in less than a year! I am sure he was cut loose! |

Maybe it was a mutual thing. Were you the one that posted his music video? I thought it was very professionally done -- I hope he didn't go into debt doing that. I have no idea what these things cost. |

I thought the performances were much better last night. Kind of weird that you could vote during the entire show and then they reveal you were wasting your time if you were voting for Rayvon!
Does anyone think that Clark and Nick might split the WGWG vote and Jax might squeak through? Or does Clark really have this one in the bag?

I think Rayvon is better than Clark & I think Nick is also better than Clark. Clark lost his mojo! I wonder if he actually wants to win. I see Clark in Christian music, not in Pop with Borchetta!
I have a feeling JAX will be gone at #3 .
I fear the Finale will be Clark & Nick, with Clark winning.
Don't forget Clark is from the South. There has never been a winner from the Northeast & JAX and Nick are both from there.

I'll check for spoilers from the east coast broadcast and won't bother watching if it's going to be Clark getting the confetti. Particularly if it is WGWGx2 for the finale. |

Does anyone else think Scott Borchetta looks like an evil villian or one of the Borgia family? I saw a headline that if Nick wins, Scott might steer him to country. I wonder what Nick thinks of that? If Clark wins, who knows what Scott has planned or whether he will take much interest in him. |

I don't think Scott will steer Nick towards Country. Probably an easy listening lite rock. If Clark wins, I think Scott will drop him.

Next season will be Idol's last. 15 is a good number!  It was a Pop Culture phenomenon! And has brought me REAL friends into my life! You all and many more! Not to mention adventures I never thought I would ever do. Things such as traveling alone all over the country to meet mutual fans of a singer! Adam! Would a label have ever given this gay guy a chance if he hadn't busted into our consciousness with Idol? I doubt it! The thought of not having this beautiful voice in my life makes me cry! TY, Idol!
