satisfied how can this be? I dont live in the US hahaha!!! mys*&@^#r's link doesnt work for me either but the other one??? Just adding my voice to the chorus...getting tired of having to read pages of commentary about stuff we cannot get in Canada!! >:( >:(  sigh.... Maybe Greece has some sort of bilateral share agreement that we Canucks don't have!! grrrrrr..... I have tried to find it on youtube but to no avail. FWIW...I have not been able to watch most vids here on the forum...I have had to go directly to youtube first, then I can. Is that just me?? grrr....just for that, I am going to get back to work...this is more frustrating than fun!!!  I can't actually test this, as I'm in the US, but I think a lot of people use this: www.hidemyass.com/ or a similar site I think they just paste in the URL they want to watch and it "hides" if they are viewing from another country. |

Lurking on my I-pad during a break at work...don't tell. Here's a thought that came to me when one of you fine posters called Adam an "agent of change". If some time in the future Adam and Sauli decided to commit to a long term relationship, could Sauli be denied the privilege of living in California because he is not a citizen? Most people could marry to gain citizenship. Could you imagine a more attractive couple highlighting the unfairness in failing to recognize marriage for all? (I cannot imagine Adan living in Finland for long if it is cold!) The whole thing is very, very complicated and there are people paid a lot of money to understand this. Thanks rabbitrabbit...someone else suggested that a few days ago...I couldn't make it work...could be me, could be my mac...I have no idea. Ditto I spent an age downloading bit torrent and tried thru that but still got the 'so sorry...blah blah blah'. I guess the media sources are really taking this protectionist stuff to heart...I do not understand the reasoning but...it is what it is. Sometimes it just is not worth the effort. All things end up on youtube eventually so...... grrr...but seriously, they can't make 'best in the world' claims if the rest of the world is blocked!!! can't have cake and eat it too.....grrrr.....sorry guys...just ranting here on one of my pet peeves!! I know it's been said before....but I'm so thrilled that we have such amazingly beautiful and intelligent international members posting @ Adamtopia. The Terminex man came this morning and I usually don't have too much interaction with him, but today it was someone new and when he came in I had GNT DVD on and he recognized Adam from Idol. We talked a little about the judges this year, he and I being Aerosmith but not Steven as a judge fans, then he said he was sure his wife would be happy that Adam did well because SHE was a singer and she had voted for him. Here, come to find out, she and my husband had performed together before she left to perform in Branson at one of the theaters. Ended up giving him a copy of the Acoustic EP for her and I could hear him playing it as he pulled out of the driveway. I love happy endings. Love your story, hopefully he'll get his wife the DVD as well!! I actually thought about that, told him I hadn't seen it at our Walmart, but I could not make myself part with my last "spare." |
