It was movie week on idol so I thought a little homage to how you sing a movie song might be in order... Step one take one of the biggest baddest biker songs of all time Step two wear shiny patent sneakers Step three skip Step four - sing the shit out of it! THANK YOU, bridgey, for bringing BTBW over!! "Sing the shit out of it, indeed!" After watching snippets of Idol tonight (yawn), and then seeing BTBW again, it's like two different shows in two different universes, and nothing will ever be the same again. That is all. |

Good morning everybody! (or good night... why can't we all be in the same timezone... all the interesting and funny messages get posted here while most of us europeans are asleep...  ) Yesterday there was talk here about Tommy Joe Ratliff's Tumblr page. I highly recommend it! He usually posts very well thought and insightful messages. For example, yesterday somebody asked him about how he and Adam handle all the bs they receive in the public, but some of the questions he answers go to much deeper stuff as well. Check it out, if you already havent: tommyjoeratliff.tumblr.com/- Mia - thank you for posting this. mmmm... it seems that he's better with expressing himself in writing rather than talking. OMG, there are two whole pages, LOL!!!    Just adding some comments The ultimate HBIC. "Each time Adam sings, an angel has an orgasm. His vocals are top notch, and he has a ridiculous vocal range. Adam loves putting on a show, and that means lights, fog, glitter, lots of gyrating, guyliner, black nail polish, costumes, and other glam furnishings. The fact that he is gay is the least shocking thing about him. Basically, you wish you were as fly as this motherfucker. On American Idol Season 8 he had a string of memorable (to say the least) performances, including Ring of Fire, Mad World, and Whole Lotta Love. He made American Idol his bitch. People go absolutely batshit crazy over this guy; some even begin to question their sexuality, hence, the term "Adamgasm."" |

Yes, she was a bit ditzy and sometimes even incoherent, but I have always thought Adam brought out her eloquent side -- "you dare to dance in the path of greatness" was/is fantastic. |
