All this talk about pink nail polish has brought a chuckle to my lips the last couple of days. See like Adam, my daughter also had a chest full of dress up clothes out all year long . The neighbors came after school or in the summer to play. There were tinkerbells, hippies, princessses, pirates, genies, horse trainers, super heros, clowns or whatever they imagined and put together. So... did one neighbor become a genie? ... no she has a degree in genetics, another a princess?... No she is an assistant manager at Barnes and Nobles and is goint back to shcool to be an Entertainment Lawyer. Another a hippie?... She will be finished college next year to become a high school orchestra director. My Daughter a pirate? No she is well into her studies to become a math and science teacher for lower elementary students. And our little tinkerbell/ horsetrainer is graduating this year and wants to pursue a career in law enforcement. There were many hours spent in this imaginary world where all these characters and creatures coexisted harmoniously and each had an equally important role as the other. Yes multiple ages of tinkerbells and pirates superheros and princesses etc....all interacting together in one world. So...I say bring on the pink nail polish or whatever! Let these kids be creative and accepting and play to mold them into the people they are becoming as adults. And watching this magical world is some of the best parenting memories one can have. Your post made me smile! It brings back memories of my young adult children playing dress-up when they were young. And none of them grew up to be orphans or Native Americans or horses!

I EFFIN' LOOOOOOOOOOVE THAT SONG:) I'm a synesthete, and while it's not my absolute no 1 fav song on the album, it's, interestingly, the song that invokes the strongest images in my mind; dunno why is that. Anyways, I see it in all sea-type colors in the beginning (1st verse); starts all coral blue, turquoise, it's like floating in those colors but in space, and I feel absolute peace and quietness in it, don't know how to explain it better. Then, in the chorus going into 2nd verse, the colors are still kinda blue-ish but are starting to spillover into some shades of dirty pink/light fuchsia, even some purple in parts. I have this image of bubbles and round shapes, even some white flows of energy making shapes rather similar to that infinity sign Adam has on his wrist, now that I think of it( had that image in my mind from the first time I heard it). The bridge "makes me want you baby" etc, is sharper, more dark purple and with loads of the blue again, yet the wail in the middle has a strong pink feeling to me. Actually that one's interesting, coz I feel the whole bridge in pink, yet the words sound blue/purple to me. The last part is all coral blue to me, and I feel like I'm in the middle of the ocean. The whole song, to me, has a strong Pisces, Neptunian vibe to me. Not really an astrology connoisseur, although I know a thing or two about it, yet it's a strong image that I keep getting. Is there anyone else here with synesthesia, I'd really love to know how others hear it And I've always wondered how Adam hears it, I don't know if he sees colors as well, but they sure are very important to him, given how much effort he puts into the visual presentation. Musicgirl: Thanks for your beautiful description. Yesterday I posted Angelina's description of how Adam's voice looks to her, a fellow synesthete. Got some great responses, and art work from that post. You can check out the beginning of yesterday's thread, or the vocal masterclass, where I double posted it. I'd be interested in whether the two of you see the same colors for the same songs. Freaky cool. Cassie, thank you I didn't catch it yesterday, will def check it out 2morrow, must sleep now as I must get up for work in just 4 hours aaaaaaahhhhh Will respond then, as well! *hugs*

Syntesthesia - Loaded Smile PostFestum, OMG!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU IN MY HEAD RIGHT NOW?? I can't believe it!! It's very, very similar to it-THANK YOU I love you so much right now& wish I could give you a hug Please accept this virtual one i1096.photobucket.com/albums/g327/d192/hg078.gifand feel me giving you an across-the-world one in 3...2...1... Awww, thanks for the hug, felt really good! Hugs & kisses back at'ya! I'm also a very visual person, but don't usually "see music"; other than in choreography... LOL (my sekrit passion, don't tell anyone). So I relate easily to visuals (mainly abstract) and I have a pretty accurate eye for color. Vivlite, missed your post yesterday, sorry. Yes, you are right about Kandinsky & MA they do go well together, especially some of the later works. Funny, bright & mixed elements. Swirly... do you feel this?

But it makes me so sad that with all the things there are in this world to be outraged over they are acting morally superior to Adam and a sweet little boy with pink toe nails.

I love all the art-work you all have been posting lately. I love Kandinsky, Picasso and Dali. Also love Erte. I guess I am taken with the abstract and the vibrant colors. Guess it fits my slightly warped psyche...or maybe majorly warped psyche.

Adam is the classy advocate for LGBT issues; savvy, visible and vocal (with the correct tone). ACIGC!!!
