Newcastle is getting darker by the minute! When I arrived the sun was out, but now it looks like weather is headed our way. An Adam storm! Was going to tell you all about my train trip, but I bought a new converter and EVEN IT isn't working with this laptop, so my message will be short. Want to save battery for a recap after the show! Walked to the venue - only about 8 minutes away - not the best part of town. Saw a broken gun casing on the sidewalk along the way! Counted 26 people in front of the entrance; didn't see Japanese Freddie among them; but he may have put on an overcoat - it's getting verry cold! Took photos of the trucks, but I see they are already posted here. There are also four big, black tour buses parked alongside and in back of the venue. Lots of vendors are setting up inside! Took a photo of the hundreds of seats that have been removed for GA admission . . . I think that's the only thing I photographed that you haven't seen already! Oh - and gum on the sidewalks. I have never seen so much thrown away gum in my life! Train trip here was lovely. Sat next to a gentleman who gave me his window seat, and then pointed out landmarks along the way. Did you know that just northeast of the city of York are the 'North York Moors'; and from miles away you can see an ancient white horse that was carved into the rock formation there?? It's like their own 'Mt. Rushmore'! - well, sort of. Okay - time for me to log out and save battery! Sophie better get here soon! I'm opening up the gin!! XO Well, let me tell you - the gin was well and truly open when I got here! Such a joy to meet up with Momtomany again.... .....while the snow swirls around outside the hotel windows. Going to a be an AdamStorm indeed. Met lots of young people on my recky mission to the arena. Think it will be a crowd with a fair share of youngsters - a big student town. They speak like Cheryl Cole - such a warm, friendly accent. Off for a meal and then ADAM! Just so excited... |

Hmm, the pic... I can't see them well enough to really recognize anyone. Who is Seth? And Shosh is small, I would say those are all guys? Don't know who Seth is either. Maybe Shosh is standing in front of the guy with his back to us in the pic? IDK
He's the personal trainer.

Looks like this will not start until 8:30PM local. That is based on info I just got from someone at the venue. They have to finish by 10:45PM so it is unlikely they can start much later than this.
