Please, Adam, don't tell us you looove Oh Land. I watched one live video and it was sad. The woman has singing talent somewhere between Kesha and Katy Perry. Plus, for extra flair, she can hit an electric drum head with a stick. ETA: I after reading the thread, I see other people like Oh Land. I guess I don't get it. Oh well.I liked her logo performance. That is all I've heard-will have to check out the rest. I don't always like everyone Adam likes, but he has introduced me to some artists I never listened to before.

I'm with you. That's why my tweet to him was "Don't worry bb. Your will is stronger than the stars. " HAHA! Me, too. I didn't tweet him directly, but this is what I said "Adam, I adore you, but I have to say this at least once. I believe in astrology as much as I believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster. " I get that it is interesting and I don't have a problem with anyone having fun with it but I just can't take it seriously. This is just my opinion and I hope it doesn't offend anyone. Okay, I'm a Cancer as well and I'm open to the "there are more things in the universe..." theory. I don't live by my horoscope (I rarely even check it) but there are just a couple of things that give me pause. The moon is strong enough to control the tides. Just saying. I'm an Ox in the Chinese calendar for the year I was born. I fit the description very well. I also have a book that combines the Sun sign and Chinese sign and WOW, I was blown away. By far the majority of folks I looked up fit and trust me, the descriptions are long and NOT generic or similar one to the other. I have 3 friends that taught at the same elementary school - different grades. They always noted the different grade levels as having different personalities i.e., the group that started in Kindergarten XX year all the way through might be "more mature: or the group that started a year earlier were "squirrely" etc. I don't live by it but it's fun to think about. But mostly I think it makes you contemplate and do introspection. I'm an accountant that likes Tarot cards - but I think their best use is for meditation - contemplation. YMMV But if Adam uses astronomy to slow down and contemplate who he is and what he's feeling, maybe that has helped to shape him into a person that seems so comfortable with himself. *\o/* Maybe he noticed he was feeling off-kilter and THEN noticed the retrograde situation. Maybe not the best day to start a new song. As for the taxes - he has people folks. He might just be signing the check!!! ;D (sorry this is so long - I have 4 tax returns to do - STALLING!!!)

Yes, I too have been introduced to new artists by Adam. He certainly has eclectic taste. ;D

" I get that it is interesting and I don't have a problem with anyone having fun with it but I just can't take it seriously. This is just my opinion and I hope it doesn't offend anyone. When people start talking astrology, it takes all my will power not to post a snooty little lecture detailing all the scientific reasons that it's complete nonsense. Neil thinks so, too--he once tweeted that it's bullshit, and then added, "Sorry, Adam." ;D I won't even tell people my sign because I don't want to contribute to the culture of magical thinking. But--if this is the worst misconception that Adam has, I won't try to talk him out of it! Hee! ETA: Sorry, I saw this and just had to launch into the aforementioned snooty lecture. The moon is a helluva lot closer to the earth than any stars are--the moon being less than 239,000 miles away and the nearest star (besides the sun, which is 93 million miles away) being 4.22 light years away, meaning it takes almost four and a quarter years for light (which travels 186,282 miles per second) to travel from the star to the earth. So right now the computer that you're sitting in front of has more of a gravitational pull on you than any star, and even than the moon. The moon and tides are both large bodies that are pulling at each other. You'll notice that the moon's gravity doesn't lift you off your feet--you're too small. My favorite story about astrology was when a professor handed out sheets of paper to his students, explaining that he had looked up their astrological signs and wrote out individual profiles for them. He asked how many considered the profile to be accurate. The majority of students raised their hands. Then he asked them to switch papers with their neighbors and asked if they were still accurate. There was an immediate chorus of voices saying they'd gotten the same profile. Yes, they did-- all the profiles were identical. It's pretty easy to come up with generalizations that fit most people, and it's also easy for people to overlook the things that aren't accurate and concentrate on those that are. Well, I shouldn't have done that, but I do feel better.

I always check out the various artists Adam tweets about. Sometimes I like their music, and sometimes I'm like WTF?!! For me, Oh Land falls into the latter category!!

Astrology is about energy - not hocus pocus. We also don't understand it very well. In ancient times it was understood and used. The astrophyscists are watching the sun like crazy now due to coronal mass ejections(CME's). They are powerful, take out our satellites and mess with all things electronic and also my body. It's like a giant whack.

I hate those copyright things! >:( I can't see or listen to some of the videos on Youtube or on AdamOfficial because of the copyright agreements. And this also happens with the Southband recordings in Youtube: parts 1 and 2 don't work, but parts 3 and 4 are playing ok. Luckily the link to the recording on Box.net -site is working and I managed to listen the entire program. Okay, I do understand that you have to protect everyone's rights to their property, but still... :-/ - Mia - mia when you cant see a vid, ask from this person to give you just the url or you can "quote" this person's post to copy just the url from the post and then go here and surf anonymously. I saw all the vids from the Soundbath and many fan vids with this site. If you need any help pm me. hidemyass.com/youtube-proxy/ETA here are the urls from the Soundbath you can copy them soundbath.wordpress.com/2011/04/16/introducing-grammy-nominated-sonyrca-recording-artist-adam-lambert-on-uk-radio/

holst I agree with you. That video you posted was not good. This is better www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5KgZK_dvXIBut I think Adam following someone on twitter doesn't necessarily mean he likes him/her. He must stay informed about music, artists, producers.
