It must be nice to have all your singles zoom to #1 on every chart whether they're good or crappy. (talking about GaGa & others)
I love NY too!! I'm just getting antsy reading about other (Idol) artists working on singles from their sophomore albums with possible releases before the end of Idol S10. Not talking about Cook as that was a long wait.
I love that he seems to have a great relationship with Sauli and that he is happy. I just want to see some music-related news. More "in the studio working with...." type tweets. Am I too impatient? Yes I am.

I think Gaga is quite smart -- she released BTW and detractors criticized it for being derived from Madonna -- 5 days later, she had sold 1 million downloads. Now she releases a cover that is IMO somewhat silly but is getting press for it. (So far it is well behind the press Adam got for his first cover.) We'll see if it gets criticized or not.
And Judas has gotten her even more press.
So she is doing exactly what she needs to do to make every music buyer aware of her new album.

Why is Lady Gaga's pic a joke? What did I miss? It looks sorta like a cat that is a bike. Provocative.
Was Adam trying to make fun of her? Was he wishing to have a motorcycle pic on his album first? I'm truly missing something.

Just found this on Twitter. It's called, Gaga is Copy & Paste. I knew she was copying but to see it all laid out like this is amazing! bit.ly/fJKfws

OT....I just want to say I am so envious of Atopians and anyone who can see music in colors! What a dimension that must add to performances of really great talents like Adam!! I would love to hear an Adam concert broken down into the colors the person sees with each song. "Synesthete" (I don't know if I spelled that right) really fascinates me and I'd love to find a good book on it. Well, be careful for what you wish for. I said something about being jealous of that ability to Angelina and she reminded me that not all music, not all sound looks as beautiful as Adam's voice. "not all sounds are pleasant and they do impact on me very badly sometimes - the noise of the audience at Adam's concert in New Orleans, for example, totally freaked me out and left me reeling! And yup, some sounds do cause nausea and splitting headaches and some very spikey shapes sometimes hurt me almost physically. And because I can't turn it off, it impacts on other necessary activities, like sleeping!!! Haha! Nightmare when I still used to have to travel a lot for singing!!!" I think I will be content with the beautiful descriptions and depictions of others with synesthesia.

I was thinking that myself as in how can one live in a city with the horrible amount of ambient noise there is and how additionally distracting it would be to not only hear all that noise but to see it as well.

murly - this and the rest of your post make me think we MAY BE THE SAME SIGN! ;D ;D ;D crispy said: I'll bet you're a Virgo -we're all skeptics! It's what makes us Virgos. If you believe that Virgos are skeptics then you're not a skeptic. I'm not a Virgo & I'm a skeptic. I hope he's not in NY. Unless he's recording or writing there & not just trotting after Sauli. Actually I can't imagine Adam trotting after anyone. I love New York and can never find enough excuses to go. Taking a fun weekend trip and then heading back to work seems pretty normal to me. [/quote] If he is really in NYC, I don't see it at all as "trotting after someone." If your husband or boyfriend asks you to go with him on a business trip and you go, it is a compliment, not a sign of weakness. I LOVE trotting after my husband when the opportunity presents itself and I can get a few days off. LOVE is wanting nothing more than to spend time with the object of your affection, no matter the circumstances.
