Pairs skating to TfM (in real life; not fan made), though it sounds like the photographer is a fan; she keeps singing and says, "OMG! I can't believing they're skating to Adam." He sounds amazing though. I don't know what it is, but when people dance/skate, etc. to his songs, it brings out another layer of his voice to me. Maybe because I'm not focused solely on him and the song; I'm trying to take in the performance. ETA: LOL, jinx, whatyasay!! She sounded like anyone of us when she said, "Do you know how happy this makes my day?" It takes so little to make us happy and proud.

I hope this isn't considered off the topic of the moment - I've been thinking about Adam2 and wondering about love songs. Or maybe I should say LOVE SONGS. Do you guys think that singing about love from an out gay man will be acceptable this time around? Two years later have we come far enough? Or will he have to avoid any reference to love and sex? Which would suck.

I did a number of percentage calculations to arrive at the date for the million follower mark and then just threw them out the window when they came out for May/June. There was some event at the time that was spiking the numbers and I just didn't believe that there would be continuous spikes when Adam was done touring and wasn't doing promo for a new album. I should have trusted my calculations.

Enthusiasm..... thy name is Mahailia !!!!! I love your passion and action. You're truly a "Get er dun" type of person...I like that. Awhhhh....... thanks Bama! I really think this is an important program, so I do what I can..... Would love it if either The Sound Bath or www.mywordradio.com would trend on twitter about an hour before this show goes on tonight! That would get peeps attention, but I hope it wouldn't crash their site. This program could really help Adam's music to take off in the UK, and the station is playing almost an hour of Adam every day! Adam is finally getting play on UK radio because of this program!

I agree. I noticed that Hoopla and a few others tweeted the link to RCA Promo as well as Adam....I hope they both saw it, but who knows. Like you said, it needs lots of twitter activity to get more peeps attention.

Which would suck. He's done many love songs and has made them somewhat universal, as most love longs are, IMO. I think a lot of modern writers keep things gender neutral for broader appeal. WWFM can certainly be interpreted as a gender-neutral love song that was widely accepted. BTW, Lee is having a Twitter party. I asked him what the status of the Zodiac documentary was and he said it's on hold until they get the $$ for the sync rights to the covers. So, it sounds like it is in the works still, but need backing money and clearance for the songs.

A little off topic, but not completely...
As many of you know by now, I teach at a private college preparatory school. Our student body is all female. Yesterday some of my very bright and lovely thirteen year old students came in to interview me for an article they are doing for our school newspaper.
They started talking about religion, and how they don't agree with some of the teachings of their churches, like the teaching against gay marriage and the belief that homosexuality is a sin. The interesting thing is that everyone in the room began listening, and nodding their heads in agreement. The room was full of girls hanging out and talking- typical nice, somewhat conservative, girls.
It made me realize how much things are changing.
By the time these girls are my age, the world will be a different place, and, for the most part, in that world, kids will be amazed that people used to react with prejudice when they saw two men or two women kissing, the same way kids in my classes today can't believe people would think twice about interracial relationships.
That change is happening, and nothing any of the people who protest it are doing can stop it from coming.
I asked them if there were things they liked about their faiths, and they came to the conclusion that you don't always have to throw the baby out with the bath water, just sometimes you need to get in and really clean out the tub, or enjoy the soap and water but move to the shower. Their analogies.
I love my job and the young minds I get to teach. They teach me every day and make me realize and believe in the words another young girl close to their age wrote in a different generation in the middle of intolerance and hate.
"In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart." (Anne Frank)

So the Mercury Retrograde happens 3X a year for @ 3 weeks each time? So not uncommon it seems. I know absolutely nothing about astrology and, despite my love of all things Adam, have little desire to know more than Q3 posted on p 1. My feeling is - if you think something good or bad is supposed to happen because of the position of the stars or planets you can make anything that happens to you fit. Sort of like a placebo. If you expect it to work it probably will.
But I'm pretty cynical about stuff like that. Maybe too cynical. I'm sure it's an interesting subject - especially since AFL is a follower! And it's something to talk about until real news happens. :D I'm with you. That's why my tweet to him was "Don't worry bb. Your will is stronger than the stars. " HAHA! Me, too. I didn't tweet him directly, but this is what I said "Adam, I adore you, but I have to say this at least once. I believe in astrology as much as I believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster. " I get that it is interesting and I don't have a problem with anyone having fun with it but I just can't take it seriously. This is just my opinion and I hope it doesn't offend anyone.

Part 1 of Angelina's program on YT has over 2000 hits! And no thumbs down. I certainly hope that RCA/19, AO and ALF ---- and Adam, of course, see it and share it with others.
