I can't stop listening to Save Me from Glasgow.
First, Brian May is sadly underrated as a composer. That song is beautiful melodically, and touching, lyrically. The combination pulls all the emotional strings.
Then, to hear Adam caress it so tenderly, so delicately andsparingly before building to the lyrical and melodic climax - and brilliantly adding the high D5 to the climax for emphasis.
Finally, to hear Brian's guitar sing as gently and melodically as Adam's voice.
A divine performance. And only the second time they performed it? Priceless.

I ate kale for the very first time today (honestly!) and then the record deal announcement. Don't know if it means anything What I do know is that April will become my own National Kale Month so that, hopefully, the single release timeline will not change. (Btw, kale was not as scary as I thought it would be.) |
