CarterMatt.com @mattcartermedia 2h2 hours ago Adam Lambert record deal announced on some day as 'American Idol' return - cartermatt.com/148294/adam-lambert-record-deal-announced-day-american-idol-return/ … #AmericanIdol
January 15, 2015 Is today turning out to be a great one for Adam Lambert fans? It certainly seems like it. You likely knew already that the former “American Idol” star was returning to the show as a judge for tonight’s new episode, but to go along with that, we also have the news right now that he has signed a new record deal to go along with it! In a new story from Billboard, it is revealed that Adam has a new report deal with Warner Records, and this is something that has been in the works almost immediately after the singer parted ways with RCA following two records that he did there. Specifically, he tells the website that this helped to make the transition so much easier: “The next day, Warner Bros. contacted us, which I thought was pretty amazing and it was a kind of relief … It was just a scary thing to make that announcement to the world.” Adam has been working with producers Max Martin and Shellback on new music, which could be released over time in the months ahead. These two were key components in “If I Had You” and “Whataya Want From Me,” two of his biggest hits from his major-label debut “For Your Entertainment.” Clearly, this is great news for both Adam and his fans, and the timing of this story is pretty smart, given that he will be in the news today more than he has been in America in a little while. He is also still in the process of touring with the legendary band Queen. Head over here if you want to preview the new episode of “American Idol” airing on Fox tonight! No wonder Adam said, third times the charm.
OMG this is going to EPIC. A label that snapped him up. The best in the business who see him and support him and who HELP him shape his artistic vision. Adam having a clearer and clearer vision of himself ....... and more confidence ...... ONE PRODUCER SHAPING A COHERENT ALBUM based on the simple fact - it's the songs and the voice. Yes, the VOICE. They understand about trial and error ... they actually get it .... that it takes time and experimentation to find yourself and your market. Flail, Flail, Flail, Flail, Flail, Flail

You guys! If DMG can pull off what they did with Katy, OMG!!! Thats true this whole deal reminds me of Katy's signing. She had multiple singles. And they were all MEGA hits. I have a feeling the same well happen for Adam. Multiple singles becoming MEGA hits. Katy was utilized for her best qualities. I remember a while back. They said "We are honing in on Adam's best qualities, and just making him stronger". With Katy she was a visual performer. Good song writer. And fun. With Adam its all about the voice. I have a feeling this time next year, Adam well be the biggest thing in music. I have never been this confident about his career.

I can't stop listening to Save Me from Glasgow. First, Brian May is sadly underrated as a composer. That song is beautiful melodically, and touching, lyrically. The combination pulls all the emotional strings. Then, to hear Adam caress it so tenderly, so delicately andsparingly before building to the lyrical and melodic climax - and brilliantly adding the high D5 to the climax for emphasis. Finally, to hear Brian's guitar sing as gently and melodically as Adam's voice. A divine performance. And only the second time they performed it? Priceless. Now that I have pretty good handle on Queen catalog it's crazy, but I think Brian May might be my favorite song writer out of these four. In the past I always thought that Freddie wrote all these songs. Even Queen fans seem to lack respect for May's songwriting
