And multiple albums means Warner thinks they can make money from him over the long haul, so he doesn't have to hit it out of the park every time--tho we know he will. Also, listening to Tyler Toliver today, made me realize once again how many artists find a sound and every song sounds the same. Perhaps delivering the "expected" sound is safer. Who knows? If Adam is anything he is a risk-taker, and the multi-genre idea he's had since the beginning is now in vogue, so maybe a larger piece of the listening audience will give him another or even a first try... He's such a hard worker and he's kept his name out there. I really like this perspective. He'll hit it out of the park artistically for sure if it's truly his vision, which is how it is panning out. I've always loved what he has to say, when it is actually him saying it and not a song shoved down his throat by idiots. I believe he has made the album that he wants both artistically and commercially. Commercially, there is no formula for him, because there has never been anyone like him. EVER. I truly hope, like you, that he reaches a larger audience this time ... and then, come what may, it comes down to connection with his music and him. |

Desert flowers come out at night?! Helloooo dearest Cayman! Are u well? I haven't looked at the work I brought home and my 'exciting' salad has wilted but I am really enjoying adam sending 'straighten the f*ck up' vibes to Harry and JLo - he makes them better judges and better people just thru proximity That was what I was thinking. JLo never sounded so intelligent. YAH for A3 and new label. JLo's judging has been excellent since last season.  |

i was a little miserable until this part and ready to send harry to the parking lot for a sedative but adam montage being blunt with contestants is all sorts of competence porn. AND CHAPF AND CRISPY ARE IN THE HOUSE!!! Where's COOKIE? I want my hat back. CAYMUN TOO???? Now this is what I call a night on the thread. Wow, who else have I missed? Last convo we had with Mika, thought we'd run him off..harems and all. Brings back some great memories. Have missed you all!!  |
