Also, forgot to say, while Adam's gaze felt encouraging, like he was pulling for them, taking them seriously and hoping they'd do their best, it was fascinating to see how many singers couldn't look at him (but could look at Harry and Jennifer) when they were singing. I think 'cause they know Adam really knows what's up vocally (even if he did make a couple of questionable decisions tonight)---must have been like being stripped bare on stage with nowhere to hide.

AlohaPF alohaAdam is great at this because he’s totally in the present. He totally immerses himself in the music and the singe. He’s not self absorbed.
Agree and I was watching the whole thing. Just like Keith, Adam's really paying attention and listening their singing. He really took this job seriously. Too bad we didn't really see all those contestant that Adam said NO to. I'm thinking with Adam being there, Idol's trying to make Harry look a bit softer than Adam. And Harry's taking advantage of Adam's honesty to get that attention.

O M G, aint nobody gonna complain that the camera spent too much time on JLo tonight. That man just shines. Wow!
And it's just starting on the west coast so another two hours of awestruckness still coming.
Gorgeous, smart, entertaining. I was watching the twitter feed and it was all, all great.

Just a quick drive by post to say WHAT AN AMAZING BERTIFUL DAY THIS HAS BEEN!
The new label announcement, how tightly orchestrated that was, how much attention idol gave him in tonight's show, the sheer right timing of everything...I'm a little overwhelmed. So very happy.
I simply can't understand how fans of other artists get by. We must all be adrenaline junkies because there is always something thrilling going in in adamland.
I feel like hugging everyone! And I am NOT a hugger, normally!!!
