Okay, so I never have watched AI all that much with the exception of one season...do they ever tell a contestant to get some singing lessons?
Seems like there was a number of people (thinking of the guys mostly)who had some natural ability but their phrasing, pitch, and/or melisma addiction could really use some professional help.

I was questioning a lot of their choices on Idol tonight. I guess they see potential and want to hear other songs after a little coaching.
I was wondering why Adam covered his mouth a few times when he was laughing. I haven't seen him do that before.

I noticed the cover up and the head down, etc. too. I think he is full of quippy, zippy repartee and was trying to rein it in. I also thought he was reacting to Harry's insanity and did not want contestants to think he was mocking them. But, it's probably not all that deep.

Just a quick drive by post to say WHAT AN AMAZING BERTIFUL DAY THIS HAS BEEN! The new label announcement, how tightly orchestrated that was, how much attention idol gave him in tonight's show, the sheer right timing of everything...I'm a little overwhelmed. So very happy. I simply can't understand how fans of other artists get by. We must all be adrenaline junkies because there is always something thrilling going in in adamland. I feel like hugging everyone! And I am NOT a hugger, normally!!! I felt the exact same way - I was just happy - I wanted to hug everyone too. I'm also in Ontario - sending you a virtual hug |
