This is a bit of a review followed by video of some of the best work by Queen. I removed the videos -- but left the song titles. The link to entire article with videos is at the end.

Q3! Fangirling incoming...
(note: everything I'm writing is my own opinion; I'm no talon-ish expert, just a fan)It's like a random writer made a list of my favorite Queen songs with only a couple of exceptions. I could really, really, REALLY get behind QAL taking on three quarters of this list.
The only headscratcher to me is "One Year of Love" - probably my least favorite Queen song in the entire catalog. I've tried listening to it quite a few times, but it just doesn't do anything for me. A boring 80's ballad...with so many other down tempo songs that are 100 times better (White Queen, Lily of the Valley, Nevermore, You Take My Breath Away, Save Me, Melancholy Blues, LOML, Teo Torriate, Don't Try So Hard, WWTLF) I don't get why anyone would want to hear this instead?
I also find "Spread Your Wings" to be a little meh...I love it lyrically, but I don't find it as...musically dynamic as other Queen songs.
Other than that...
Father to Son - HELL YES. I jam out to this
daily multiple times a day and never tire of it, even the slightest bit. And just when I think I want to repeat it, it fades into White Queen, and I have no choice but to listen to White Queen because it's so effing beautiful.
Was It All Worth It - I absolutely adore this song, but I don't know how the lyrics would sound coming from Adam Lambert, a man at the relative beginning of his career who hasn't exactly had the same life experiences as Freddie.
Scandal - Adam's voice could soar on this one! I would be very interested to hear live instrumentation.
It's Late - Another one of my absolute favorites from the Queen catalog. Would love to hear six to seven minutes of this song a night. The guitar solos....the "scenes"/verses....*melts*
Prophet's Song - Absolutely epic. YES.
You Take My Breath Away - What can I possibly say about this song? It's the single most gorgeous song in the entire catalog, hands down.
Liar - A great showcase for the entire band, as shown in the Rainbow.
Hitman - This song rocks, but it wouldn't be my first choice from Innuendo!
