Perhaps. But I read it as corporate BS. cover when you can. I don't mean to sound patronizing, but do you know how wifi works in large open spaces? The signal doesn't travel far on is own from one central, giant source - little "wifi extenders" must be placed throughout. In my college, in every single large auditorium, you'll find these these things on EVERY wall. Sometimes, there are 4 to 6 of them in a room that seats about 1000 people. If they're missing from an auditorium, the signal is absolute shit, even if the signal is present elsewhere in the same building. It's really not a stretch to imagine they're missing from a 15,000 person arena, leading to an awful signal that can just about cover IG photos. wifi systems differ from place to place of that there is no doubt. in this day and time however if a business wants happy customer they comply with their request. I know noting of Leeds but since they don't want to put in wifi they will cover. It is suposed to be a great venue for sound but in prior tweets with madam they did indicate wifi would be usable or at least that was her take. and yes I know how wifi works. |
