Sorry for prolonging the Leeds no-WiFi-inside discussion, but they implied the "quality of sound" as the reason for no WiFi. I am going to repeat my previous post - total and utter BS on their part. Installing repeaters/extenders inside the arena would not affect the quality of sound. and yes - I am quite spoiled by all the great streams we've had... I will also survive until (hopefully) the vids show up.. omg...talking about the vids... I still remember we never got a full set of vids from the second show in South Africa... I need help obviously :( YOu get it! The no-WIFI is not the contention but the fact they cover with a statement that is to the best of my knowledge is BS! Entitlement doesn't play into it. Hey I had forgotten about SA!

Thanks, nica575. I'm running my own concert visuals in my mind, as one does.

I don't mean to sound patronizing, but do you know how wifi works in large open spaces? The signal doesn't travel far on is own from one central, giant source - little "wifi extenders" must be placed throughout. In my college, in every single large auditorium, you'll find these these things on EVERY wall. Sometimes, there are 4 to 6 of them in a room that seats about 1000 people. If they're missing from an auditorium, the signal is absolute shit, even if the signal is present elsewhere in the same building. It's really not a stretch to imagine they're missing from a 15,000 person arena, leading to an awful signal that can just about cover IG photos. wifi systems differ from place to place of that there is no doubt. in this day and time however if a business wants happy customer they comply with their request. I know noting of Leeds but since they don't want to put in wifi they will cover. It is suposed to be a great venue for sound but in prior tweets with madam they did indicate wifi would be usable or at least that was her take. and yes I know how wifi works. I'm not sure what you mean by "cover" since apparently the wifi doesn't exist. They were clear about that. I read madam's twitter and for all we know, the first streamer could have reported the free wifi from the concourse and gotten madam's hopes up. I'm sure wifi in the actual arena isn't a huge priority for them because most people don't care about it when the show is actually happening. People generally want to connect before and after the show when they're in the concourse. and nica75, they did not use any causation in their argument. They merely stated that acoustics are venue's first priority - not wifi. Now I'm going to watch some videos from London and not let my day be ruined by lack of wifi or fuckboys who call themselves "critics" and happen to be employed at minor British publications. Who wants to join me?

We are so spoiled with all the goodies we get. This fandom is amazing and I am fully confident we will have video evidence of the continuing epicness of QAL within hours of the concert. Time for a cup of tea while I wait. :-)
