Yesterday was our first So Cal party at Mayumi's. We coupled a Nottingham listening party, with a brunch, with a BD party for Adam, with a "Welcome to California" for Mayumi!  There were only 6 of us, but man, can we talk!! Forgot to take a group picture, but we had myself, susiefierce, 8toinfinity, stardust, Lorraine, and of course, Mayumi! If any So Cal members would like to join us next time, please PM me because I don't know exactly who lives here besides the people i already know. A few people invited couldn't make it, but hope to see hem next time. Besides a yummy brunch of 2 fritatas, fruit, muffins, veggies, croissants, mini Qucihe's, Mimosas made with Moet & Chandon, here are the cupcakes we had instead of birthday cake. Not quite Betty's cakes but they served their purpose!  |

if u guys are still playing the "name the single" game , my guess is "Eyes on the prize"  dunno if that name was mentioned yesterday ... $5 on the floor Through My Eyes Only. I don't think he is looking in a mirror. It looks like he is looking over the top of a mirrored surface, hiding the lower half of his face. I think we are up to $15 bucks down!  Nah - more than that! Gotta consider yesterday's money on the floor too!  |

As the band launches into opening track One Vision it is May and Taylor who seem to be the 10ft giants on stage while Lambert, a super skinny George Michael leather-clad Faith-era look-a-like, valiantly attempts to achieve the sheer power the song demands. Excellent visual - now if we could just put "buff" in there somewhere. I had to laugh at the "super skinny" comment after all the years of seeing comments about how "fat" Adam is, lol! I think he's looking great! That training is really paying off! |
