Adam Lambert has celebrated his birthday today by announcing that his upcoming third album will be called The Original High. The news was revealed today on social media where Adam also shared a new publicity shot. He wrote a message to his fans saying: “Thank you for all the birthday love! Thrilled to announce the title of my upcoming album: The Original High. The album is executive produced by Max Martin and Shellback, with 1st single out in April.” Within minutes ‘#theoriginalhigh’ was trending worldwide on Twitter. It was confirmed earlier this month that Adam had signed a record deal with Warner Bros and that he was working with Max Martin and Shellback on his new record. Adam is currently in the midst of a UK and European tour with Queen which has had critics falling over themselves to heap praise on the singer. The tour follows their show-stopping New Year’s performance broadcast on BBC One which saw 13 million people tune in. Adam will release the first single from The Original High in April. We’ll bring you more details as soon as they are announced.

Does Sauli have an upcoming engagement in Finland? I really can't imagine him flying into Europe just for Adam's BD. Unless, there is some kind of party planned. Didn't we think that Neil and Elisse may be going to Germany or Amsterdam??

If Sauli is going to be at the Amsterdam show, it will be interesting to see if he repeats the "who is in love.....I'm not" bit he has been saying lately.... Well see soon.... I bet it will be the same basic bit -- because it is the right segue for STL. Although the Q+AL show is filled with theater -- Adam's KQ for example -- I think the "I'm not (in love)" line feels completely real. If Adam was in love, I think he would say something else -- everywhere.
Note: I do not believe Adam is "in love" right now. While I believe that Adam and Sauli are very close and they have kept the nature of that relationship private, it is clearly not a committed, singular relationship for either of them. |
