They have the soundboard sound separated, 9 cameras from every concert and 6 robot cameras for every concert on this tour. Plus they are taking BTS video at every show. In other words, they have a lot of video from every concert. >> I think they have enough to release every single concert on DVD. The whole enterprise is impressive and shockingly well documented. They have the full camera crew for Sydney so that is clearly planned as a base concert -- but a lot of the effort was BTS (the video of the set takedown and setup for example) and audience disclosure/filming. So unless they make another announcement in the EU, the audience cutaways will be from Sydney. Interesting.... so by "disclosure", you mean that they have to advise the audience that they may be filmed? I hadn't realized that this would apply to a concert. I am not a lawyer, but yes, you need to get a release to include people in photos and video products used for sale in the US, Canada and the UK. Sometimes it is part of the ticket sale. Something it is a sign clearly posted at every entrance. And it is almost always announced at the concert. Example: Adam announced it at the GNT Indianapolis Show. It is usually something like this.... If you feature someone, you usually get a full release..... I snabbed this one from a free forms website. I do not recommend using it -- but to illustrate.

Thanks, Q3 -- this was really interesting. I guess I always just assumed -- wrongly! -- that people attending an event accepted that they might be filmed or photographed. Of course, for any pictures or videos used for sale, this does make perfect sense.
