Just popping in for a bit of lurking, but had to say Yay! to Adam sending out tweets yesterday, some with the Details photos! And Wow! to the photos of him at the airport! Also loving the Labor of Love photos! So great that there are photos or tweets or bits of news so frequently.
More, Adam, more, you don't really need privacy or downtime! What you really need is time to practice the songs you've been writing, to Adamize them and know how you want them to sound on the album. What better way to do that than through a couple of one-off concerts (and the rehearsals that would be required)?? It's a short drive from LA to Fantasy Springs and it didn't take any advertising last time to sell the place out. Not difficult for fans to get there. Oh, yeah, and the band could use a payday.
Oops, no wait, did I say that out loud? I mean, Adam, do what you need, whatever is best for you. We can be patient while you work hard to put together a great album. Yeah, that's right!

It still defies all my logic, why this man's happiness makes me so damn happy! :-/  Hi everyone!!Missed all the flailing cause the minute tantun posted the first pic my godson came to visit me for Easter! I love him so much so Adam can wait. mys*&@^#r I feel the same way and wonderstruck your words are truly special!  And mia I'm so glad you came back. I want my Finnish peeps to have my morning coffee and breakfast!!   |

Because I'm a nosy Nellie, I've done some googling on that chair. It was designed by a tattoo artist who has a studio in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. Here's his website- scottcampbelltattoo.comHis designs are incredibly striking. Perhaps the next tattoo is being planned as we speak. ETA: Forgot to add that the picture Adam tweeted is from this website. Really nice tattoos. Bamafan, he has some beautiful skull tattoos. I see several that could wok for you! (I am serious.) |

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LYNNE!!!!!!!!!!! What's w the fascination of a skull? His accessories, belt buckles, rings, tie tac all have a similar tribute to the skull. Soooooooooo maybe the skull is what he is having done. Skulls always signify death to me, therefore, I don't like skulls..ugh...I can think of other images. oh well. It's Rock N Roll, BB! ITA. Skulls, keys and feathers are my favorite things in my shirts my jewelry, scarf, belts, you name it, and I never thought about signifying death . |

I am going to make this weird sort of 'confession'...for lack of a better word...regarding some pics of Adam. I was reminded of this by the last part of that vid. by details of that photo shoot. I am struck by the similarity in some of Adam's picturs, to my father!! Freudian moment coming up so scroll if you wish!! ??? : It is not that my father looked like ADam or vice versus..but there is something in the mouth that is so 'in my face' when Adam is showing that big, full grin he does sometimes. It is only in and around the mouth but it throws me off every time. This may not be so bad/disturbing if it were not for the fact that I had a very ambivalent and contentious relationship with my father [he passed away almost 15 years ago now] as he was often an abusive man ...more to my mother and brother.... as I tended to fight back more than they. Still, it is really disturbing to look at some of the pictures of him and see my dad....talk about emotional dissonance!! I just went looking for a photo to show what I meant and I realize it is only in the performance vids...when he is posing or in rl it is not there...but when he is all sweaty and has been showing his sexy side and then he breaks into that huge grin....yikes...that is my dad's mouth. go figure....analyze me...it is not pleasant...I don't like the look at all. It is not the campy 'aren't I the naughty one'...it is the big, fleshy, open grinned one that you all go...'he sure is having fun isn't he?'! scary thoughts.....sigh....'be gone damned vision!'... |

I'm not a fan of skulls - yet!
I'm not even a fan of tattoos - yet!
But I have an uncanny notion that I will be a fan of both in the near future.

I agree...My 29 son like skulls too. Maybe it reminds them both of their childhood enjoying the HeMan Skeletor charactor. LOL Hubby like skulls too, but that's Harley Davidson related. I was thinking that I might want to expand my little infinity tattoo with some aspect of whatever Adam winds up doing .....but can't see me with a skull head on my wrist.. LOL One of the tattoo designs on the website is of a feather- it's really striking, but much larger that his other tattoos (and unlikely to fit easily into a sleeve, which seems to be the ultimate goal). He and Sauli have both been wearing jewelry recently with feathers, so maybe he's interested in a smaller version of feathers. Now, I could do a small feather, esp, peacock colors...., but don't want a bird (like on Sauli's chest....I Iike his floral arm much better.) MyS*&@^#r...just saw your post...I'll have to check out the pretty skulls....You never know. btw... Are you and Cayman still planning on getting tattoos soon? |
