Welcome Jojo I'm so happy you joined us  . Sadly, Adam doesn't get a lot of radio play in Israel.When he does it's mostly WWFM. You don't have to answer if you don't want to, but I'd love to know where you're from and how you discovered Adam. Thank you. I'm from Finland and I discovered Adam last Autumn when my fiance showed me his music videos, because he was sure I would like those. He was right and I became more and more impressed the more I discovered and listened. It is rare for me that one artist has so many songs I like and I rarely become a huge fan of someone. I found this place after noticing local news about Sauli and Adam. I became curious and looked for more info and this place was one of the google links. I wish EVERY fan would take this tweet to heart. I said it before and I will say it again, overreaction by his fans could kill his career. Let's hope that never happens. I agree fans can cause trouble and OTT fans can be really annoying. BUT there is no chance that overreaction by some fans can kill an artist's career. Never has happened. Not once. Bad career choices by the artist/management, poor treatment of fans (like not showing up for concerts or starting 2 hours late), and/or music that is not commercial and/or good kills recording careers. And almost always -- career issues follow one or two off target albums. Thank You-Thank You-Thank You! I don't need to take the twitter message to heart. I don't tweet, comment on random articles or harass djs. I did, however request Adam's songs at a couple of my local stations. I continue to request other artist's songs at these stations so that I stay involved and don't look like a BSC Adam fan in a few months when Adam releases his new single. (and I listen to top 40 radio on these stations...everyday!) I admit that I'm tired of hearing and reading about a very small minority of the Adam fans who are active and involved in the online fan sites. The vast majority of fans manage to stay rational in the ways they promote Adam and his music. Sorry- just tired of hearing about the BSCs all the time. :( ETA: The comments from midwifespal and rabbitrabbit are thought-provoking and a joy to read! |
