Today, Mark Forrest interviewed Jacky Smith, the president of the Official International Queen Fan Club. The topic of the radio show was fan culture. Interview with Jacky starts at 00:13:30. Very nice Adam mentions starting at 00:16:16. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02gyt2rokie doki.... we are " connoisseurs"!  love it! listen to the interview with a psychology professor at about 20:00...it's about psychology of being a fan...I learned that I might be re-living my teen age years! YAY!!!! I heard it too. But I don't think I want to am re-living my teenage years. I wouldn't have been able to appreciate the truly unique, wonderful, and awe inspiring Adam and his 'one of a kind' VOICE. I'd be too busy meeting boys, dancing, and partying with friends!lol I know I would love him like I did Queen, The Beatles, The Rollingstones, Bowie, and Bob Dylan but I don't think I would have been a fan following his every move because I didn't do that back then with the others. Now as a more mature (lol) person I can appreciate what I kind of took for granted as a teenager. Now I can understand the power of an artists and his music thanks to AFL! |

They have 18 trucks in Europe. They only needed 14 trucks in North America because they had those massive double deck trucks. (One sneaky one is backwards.)  Or maybe Adam demanded they add 4 trucks for his shoes!!  He is such a diva now!  I believe it is because the UK has length restrictions (45'trailer/55'overall) on the tractor/trailer rigs that are more aggressive than the rest of Europe. It makes sense that they would make arrangements to accommodate the most restrictive country rather than switch out equipment during the course of the tour. Or it could be the shoes.... |
