Really great review - the title is some kind of.. funny Pop, bombast and fornication Can someone please translate this into English... tried but I couldn't get the translation..Thanks This is a rough translation from Google. I typed this out, so there may be errors and not having an "umlaut" function on my keyboard might have prevented translation of some words.. The over large shadow of Brian May, nor is drawn the curtain. The loud over reef, One Vision, a few chords for eternity. So there you go. Is it art or even worship? Queen, the band whose singer Freddy Mercury died of AIDS in 1991 are vagabonds in the pop music, bombast and fornication. There is no bad sound in this band - when Brian May losbrettert that sounds always clinically clean, and yet there is something, about which one better stulpt a youth ban. May, whose full curls now playing to the White, the Berlin O2 World dipped on Wednesday in a rigorous bubble chords. It acts as an aspirin. One spurt no pain when May hangs up his hand. But who was next May? Since hopped a gifted God, at least he has so led to. Adam Lambert he is, is 33 years old, replaced for a good two years at Queen Freddy Mercury - but how is that going to replace him? Is it possible to replace John Lennon? Or Mick Jagger? No, you can not. And yet the boy Lambert triumphs this evening with its high Absatzen and its well-gelled cheerfulness. He has the role repertoire of Freddy Mercury in the blood of the outraged stockelnden housewife to vamp who each bring in his bed, which does not stretch the arms at three. So, men should be there already. This guy was lost to the world of women. Quick comes, Another One Bites The Dust, the best-selling single to date by Queen. Many EARLY songs grade the campy cluck great: Killer Queen, Fat Bottomed Girls, Womoglich the band was never so good voice as with this Adam Lambert. For a while are Queen toured with Paul Rogers, but that was more of a fun set among gentlemen. Lambert incites the old heroes May and Roger Taylor (drummer) that they want to prove themselves again - Taylor drums when he musse only bose verprugeln a dog before good cheer in the band on acceptance. Seen in a new Lambert beneficent engine. Even if the good voice can not be the decisive argument. Jagger, Dylan or Neil Young singing rather dunn by academic criteria, but they shine. Lambert, however, who was discovered in a talent show US has a sensibility for this heritage et compete. To behave you can not be there when you step traces in Freddy, is to kick people in the ass. He does and smiles quickly, he finds a way between the old, very spread Freddy. Gesture and quite vain Adam - weighing step. At Queen's songs were great and of artificial as Freddy. That's why they sound honest and from the mouth of Adam Lambert. As an encore, We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions. The nearly sold-out hall was upside down before pleasure.

HAMBURGER ABENDBLATTQueen rocks Hamburg O2 World with majestic showPompous stage, majestic show excellent setlist full of hits, the British rock band Queen and their guest singer Adam Lambert 12,000 enthusiastic fans in the O2 World Hamburg.Hamburg. "So you therefore will musician: You stand with 800 people eight be blazed hours in front of a conference center, sing out on someone's heart out and tell you you're not fucking good enough? This destroys the next generation of musicians." Foo Fighters raged singer Dave Grohl times over talent shows such as "American Idol". Maybe he's right, he who once made a noise with crappy tools in the garage, from which Nirvana was. But there are people who might at "American Idol" fail (in the final) and still sing for one of the biggest rock bands in history. Just as Adam Lambert. The Beau from Indianapolis, "American Idol" finalist in 2009, is not only established star and new gay icon in the US, but now also the frontman of British rock legends Queen. And this fits together well, as you can see at the Hamburg concert by Queen on Thursday in the nearly sold-out O2 World. Sure, what guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor tackle usually has hand and foot. Pompous stage, majestic show excellent setlist full of hits. But everything stands and falls with the singer, because the legacy of Queen singer Freddie Mercury died in 1991, so larger than life as his image that appears on the video screen. The Leather Dress by Adam Lambert is not anyone but him already. And as powerful as May and Taylor with "One Vision", "Stone Cold Crazy", "Another One Bites The Dust" and "Fat Bottomed Girls" tackle the evening, so energetic presents the prancing, singing, frivolous posturing Lambert, by far not as a foreign body acts like Paul Rodgers ten years ago. This can be seen both at faster numbers such as "Seven Seas Of Rhye" and in the pop-operettas and ballads "I Want To Break Free", "Somebody To Love" or "Save Me". The nearly 12,000 visitors sing with Brian May and Freddie Mercury virtual "Love Of My Life", clap, cheer the solos. "I Want It All" - you get everything. Hardly a hit is omitted. "A Kind Of Magic", "Under Pressure," "Radio Ga Ga", "Show Must Go On", "Bohemian Rhapsody" and the final "We Will Rock You", "We Are The Champions" and "God Save The Queen ". Royal Entertainment 150 minutes, which would certainly Dave Grohl, a longtime friend of the band please. By the way, comes with his Foo Fighters on June 3 to Hamburg, but the cards are gone. Good rock rocks as usual.

Its an off day. So maybe a good time to post these thoughts.
As a musician but now also a business owner, I never had the inclination to attend multiple concerts of the same band or follow them around on tour. And I certainly would have thought someone ridiculous who did this - "they must have no life so live through someone else" is how I would have judged this type of person. Now I understand and here I am doing this myself! First with Adam and now Queen. Why?
There are two primary reasons for me:
1. INSPRATION AND JOY-- I am inspired and motivated by the dedication to excellence which obviously equires a lot of self-sacrifice and commitment over a long haul. Its easy to look out on the world and feel surrounded by mediocricy, selfishness and greed. QAL concerts not only rise above all of that but manifest such joy! The question then is this -- how can I live/work so the I exemplify the same qualities consistently in my own life rather than just being content in observing them in AFL/Queen?
2. LIVE IN THE PRESENT -- My wheelchair bound sister Linda had aspired to be an opera singer. She was the only family member who "got" my strange obsession with AFL. She was very low at Christmas when I visited and helped nurse her 24/7. It was precious sister time. She asked me to take her along in my back pocket on this solo European trip. And I have! The trip has been all the more poignant because she passed away two weeks before I left. So living life to the full and finding your mojo is huge to me even if those around you don't get it. Huge thanks to Q3 for creating Adamtopia where so many of us can joyfully share our thoughts and experiences.
Now for many others of you, if might not be all that deep. Scroll is your friend. But just wanted to bring another perspective to following the band around on tour. And yes, I am seeing the sights and meeting the locals as well, But that's secondary right now. This is an introspective travel trip. Not sure too many would get that.
OK - enough of that. Carry on, carry on!

I watched every little bit that all you gracious and Kind souls videotaped, but........ O M G nothing in this world Comes near this Show live. It was the first time in my life seeing Adam live and then with Queen, with THIS MUSIC, THIS SONGS that are beloved by me since i was eight years old. I arrived really late (thanks to my Boss who forced me for 2 hours overtime) but i still managed to jump on my seat right the second for ONE VISION to start. They blasted me away, all Anger at RL flew away this second and i fell in THIS RABBIT HOLE all of you are always talking about. I never knew a voice could really Transport MIND, SOUL and BODY through the Atmosphäre, but this is what i felt from the first song on. I don't think i can do a whole Review now, after my first time with him, with all of them, i just don't know enough words to write. I still have not really recovered from the (WAAAAYYYYY TOO SHORT) Concert,( and i have a nasty cold the last few days, still have to work though) so my mind is not exactly clear and focused, but then i think a clear mind when it Comes to Adam and Queen is also way overrated. I still feel Adams voice in my mind and soul and feel the drums giving my heart a faster beat, feel every single hair sizzle and and every single cell of my Body moving to Sound of Brians guitar, this whole WORLD OF SOUND can still make me tingle from inside out, crling my toes and fingers in excitement. THANK YOU ALL HERE IN ADAMTOPIA for the Videos, because i took None, not even one clear photo i just couldn't, i was just there and felt. LOVE YOU ALL on a side note i think there where about 250 places in the high-up stand empty YAY! You finally made it. That must have been awful to have to work overtime.
