I feel bad for those who traveled far
but. I think it's more to do w his voice. His throat thickening. Sure he might has the shivers etc but l listened to the show the night before, there were a few times I thought his throat was hoarse. During watc. He barely sang. I think his throat was killing him Remember when he cleared his throat at another gig? This may of been going on and w the flu could have rev'd up the infection. Idk.
Just guessung. Brian was able to play w flu. I just think Adam has vocals issues and by singing tonoght , could possibly damage his gfg
like I said. Just guessing

So sorry that Adam is sick and the show has to be canceled but I'm sure Adam and the doctors know what is best to do to get him back to 100%. I was amazed Adam was able to perform last night with the flu. I could hardly get up when I had it and just wanted to curl up under the covers and sleep. It took me a while to get my energy level back and I couldn't just jump back into my faster pace. Adam has all these shows close together to do after he feels better...so I hope he takes the time needed and not perform too soon and maybe get a relapse.
I hope he is drinking lots of liquids and sleeping this bug away. You know for Adam to ever cancel a performance he has to be really sick. The QAL shows are almost two hours of powerful energy filled song after song whereas weren't the GNT shows running about one hour usually? Continuous days of performing these high energy powered QAL shows, flying on planes with that circulating air, going into the crowds and shaking hands etc, especially during the winter cold/flu filled months, the germs are going to be everywhere.
Sending Adam lots of 'positive energy' to get well quickly.
ETA: And I feel really sorry for those who traveled far to come to the show and those who waited so long to see the show live. I know I would be so disappointed. Hopefully it can be rescheduled.

Press Release: Queen + Adam Lambert Forced to Cancel Brussels Concert
Queen and Adam Lambert have this afternoon reluctantly been forced to announce the cancellation of their sold out Brussels concert scheduled to take place tonight, Sunday February 8 at Palais 12, Brussels.
The cancellation comes after doctors in Frankfurt, where Queen + Adam Lambert performed last night, this morning diagnosed Adam with severe bronchitis and have ordered 24 hour vocal and bed rest.
Unfortunately, due to unavailability of the venue, it not going to be possible to reschedule the show.
It is not expected that the rest of the Queen + Adam Lambert tour which ends in the UK February 27 will be affected.

Very sad for all those involved. But Adam knows himself better than anyone and this is likely just as much a pre-emptive strike against his getting worse as it is him being near death's door. I hope the mommy fans on Twitter can try to control themselves. Nothing wrong with being concerned about our favorite guy but again- they don't have to tweet every thought that comes into their heads  |

Severe bronchitis usually comes with lots of cough which lingers for weeks... Question to our resident singers/performers: how do performers deal with that?
