I wonder how many young people have heard of AC/DC and recognized those old guys jumping about on the stage? Their music can't be as well known as Queen's. Next year I hope Queen gets the lifetime achievement award and they get to open and Adam runs away with all the awards for his solo work and gets to close. My perspective as a young(er) person: I'm sure a lot of young people will recognize a couple of their hits and the band name without recognizing the band members themselves. I knew the song Back in Black for a long time, and I often heard of the band's name and recognized their logo (AC/DC merch is popular). It was later in my life that I was able to match the band with the song.

Well I'm Australian so they are practically a school subject here :-) "It's and long way to the shop if you want a sausage roll" ... ok in joke change to famous lyric from their song.

Sort of interesting that the American Idol host introduced two The Voice judges.

Madonna's and Ariana Grande's songs were boring. Adam Levine and Gwen did a nice job. I guess I don't get it all. Safe and blah is good.

That was an unusual arrangement of Happy by Pharrell! I liked it though.

hey i'm still logged on from last time. are you guys having a 'you kids get offa my yard evening!' ? i have those evenings. Loved Hozier so much - he's having his honeymoon with success/fame period and that's always delightful to watch. (Have seen him live 4 times in last yr or so - was early adopter and so glad he was able to release his album this year - love the whole thing!)
(catches up to current song - oh noes, katy needs to get offa my yard!! lolol)
