Ooops, Lady Oz beat me to it. LOL. Apparently he did "party" with Guilio and friends in some capacity.

Just finished reading most of the Milan thread and I am truly amazed at Adam's resilience. It must be so incredibly comforting to know that when you are not 100% there are people on stage with you to support you the way Brian and Roger did in this show. I read that Roger filled in with background vocals throughout the concert and Brian was such a reassuring presence. Adam is the frontman but to have those amazing musians behind you must be a wonderful feeling. I felt that he was truly being taken care of on that stage by both the band and the audience. It's very cliche, but they truly seem to be one big happy family up there. It's something you don't see very often in this business. Love it! Me too. I love the chemistry between them, like the little touch from Roger during UP and the "I got your back" looks between him and Adam, and the way Brian and Roger especially look at Adam with such love and pride. And all of them just radiate such joy when they're playing together. They have so much talent to begin with, and such an incredible catalogue of music (not to mention the most gifted and charismatic frontman in the business today), but I think it's that joy that takes their concerts from "great" to "the best evah".

There is a cute segment on latest Lena Dunham HBO 'Girls',where she talks about radio playing the same songs over and over again 'til the hooks never get out of your head.. Talks to alison about getting a song on radio... first you,the audeince hates the song and then the stations play them hundreds and hundres of times 'til you give up.. Wish I could find the clip..Becomes subliminal..Gosh I can think of many songs, where I've just turned off the radio and stomped out of the room or car LOL Overplaying of Adam's wonderful songs would be VERY,VERY WELCOME Sorry this may be in the wrong place .. just something funny.. feel free to remove.

That has long been my wish, melliemom--to hear an Adam song on the radio so often that I say, "Geez, they're playing that song again?" It happens with other artists; why not Adam? Thanks for the clarification of some of the Adam-related descriptions in those Google translations, Q3, but I'm dying to know: What does "Roger Taylor plays it in cinnamon" mean? Sounds tasty!

Just wondering if a tour the magnitude of the QAL tour would carry some sort of an insurance policy to cover expenses and losses they surely incurred from canceling the Belgium concert?

Just wondering if a tour the magnitude of the QAL tour would carry some sort of an insurance policy to cover expenses and losses they surely incurred from canceling the Belgium concert? You would think it would be absolutely required before such a large concert tour started. I would guess (initially) more for the health of Brian and Roger than Adam (particularly considering Brian's fairly recent health scares). But it would cover all of them for any variety of reasons. ETA: Q3 posted a good article in the news thread (I think that was where it was) about 2 days ago.

Here is the overview of how Tour Insurance works... www.kelleydrye.com/publications/articles/1477/_res/id=Files/index=0/1477.pdfBasically, when the cancellation is due to the illness of an artist, the artist needs to be really unable to perform before the insurance companies will pay. Concerts are cancelled for many reasons -- like lightening. Some events are cancelled and there are no refunds. For example, an outdoor festival that is not insured for lighting cancellations.

Another review from Italy.... velvetmusic.it/2015/02/11/queen-concerto-a-milano-foto-e-video/Just a piece... Adam? Adam ? A true star , from clothing glam -rock , full of leather , studs and golden hues , but especially for its ability to engage the audience . Especially thanks to songs that lend themselves to this , like Somebody to Love and Radio Ga Ga . The two founders of the band , however , were not long overshadow the performance of the singer : the solos of Brian May did not disappoint expectations, while Roger Taylor has abandoned for a time his beloved drums to sing Those are the days of our lives and It's a kind of magic . The magic of We Will Rock You and We are the champions , then , did the rest , confirming the greatness of this band , despite the absence not only of Freddie ( unbridgeable ) but also of John Deacon , the historian bassist who decided retiring after the death of his friend and colleague Mercury .
