Adam returns to the stage and is great!
2.11.15 by Q3
Last night, Adam returned to the stage with Queen in Milan. It was a brief, but way too long absence (2 days!) since his last performance. The concert thread is full of great photos, videos and tweet from people who were lucky enough to be in the show. Check it out here: adamtopia.com/thread/2810/10-milan-video-audio-streams
After the show, Adam shared this photo on Instagram:

I Queen tornano grandi con Adam Lambert
It's A Kind Of Magic'.

The Queen returned large with Adam Lambert
In Milan, the only Italian date of the tour with former American Idol star
Among lights, smoke bombs, handclaps and several rock was a return fireworks that of Queen, tonight at the Mediolanum Forum Assago have performed with the American Adam Lambert in the only Italian date of their world tour. To the tune of 'One Vision' figure of the singer former contestant on 'American Idol' in the belly of the huge towers Q positioned behind the stage: on him focus the expectations and doubts of the public who filled the arena Milan sold out.
And despite bronchitis which caused him to skip the date of Brussels two days ago, Adam Lambert has dismissed any suspicion showing in great shape: as we have seen from the start with the hit proto-metal 'Stone Cold Crazy'. Fill the metaphorical shoes left by Freddie Mercury is not easy craft: they know all the pop stars who performed alongside Brian May and Roger Taylor in the last twenty-four, from Robbie Williams to Paul Rodgers. Adam Lambert seems to be the most suitable to hold this uncomfortable role: her vocal and histrionic are second only to those of the late Bulsara. To the tune of 'Killer Queen' Lambert shows what he is capable, combining agility singing on the stairs and a powerful falsetto charge camp and glamor, as laid out on a chaise longue golden sipping champagne. Lambert does not do the rest of the mystery of her artistic debt in front of Mercury: "I can not believe to be on stage with the living legends of rock, were it not for Freddie would not be here," says the singer who in 2009 thanks to a cover of the Queen was reported in the talent show American. It does not seem a coincidence that tell before introducing 'I Want To Break Free', also known as pro-LGBT anthem.
The group covers all his classics in a real night to Greatest Hits: From the first hit single 'Seven Seas Of Rhye' to un'applauditissima 'Who Wants To Live Forever', from 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' to 'Under Pressure ', from' Tie Your Mother Down 'to the super-hit' Bohemian Rhapsody ', that mixing live and playback with lots of original video clip closes the concert before the encore. The ability of performers Lambert has also joined a rock-star sensibility, always ready to engage the public: beyond the numerous flashy outfits between studs, wedges and crowns the singer has been able to enchant the audience, inviting them to sing on 'Somebody To Love' and clap on 'Radio Ga Ga'.
This ensured the success of an evening gone far beyond the tribute: Taylor and May are not simply the torchbearers of a legacy far, but rock stars who still know how to win tens of thousands of spectators at a time. The solos of Brian May - on songs like 'Fat Bottomed Girls' or 'I Want It All' and in his long-time solo prog psychedelic in the second half of the live - are as powerful as the old days. In addition to the dishes, for his part, Roger Taylor contributes his voice in the middle segment of the live, when the two founders of the band take center stage, leaving the singer behind the scenes, the drummer leaves the skins to his son Rufus and guardian of Freddie Mercury in 'Those Are The Days of Our Lives' and 'It's A Kind Of Magic'. "We are happy to be back Queen from you," says Brian May in Italian with a pun. Between the energy of the band and the explosiveness of Lambert, really for over two hours the Queen seemed those of thirty years ago, when the British entered the Olympus of rock. And an encore 'stadium' with 'We Will Rock You' and 'We Are The Champions' has just confirmed that the rock has no age.

Sold-out sì, ma comodo insomma.
Seven Seas of Rhye, Killer Queen, I Want to Break Free e Somebody to Love arrivano una dietro l’altra. Adam dice “Siete eccezionali, i migliori”.
Adam dimostra di essere un Top Player su Who Wants to Live Forever, mentre i fuochi d’artificio arrivano su un incredibile successione che propone Tie Your Mother Down, I Want It All, Radio Ga Ga, Crazy Little Thing Called Love e Bohemian Rhapsody.
I bis sono le ovvie We Will Rock You e We Are the Champions.

Queen + Adam Lambert, the report of the concert in Milan on February 10, 2015
Written by Jacopo Casati dated February 11, 2015
I had never seen him live out the remainder of the Queen. The ability to listen to Adam Lambert in concert with the old rock hearts Brian May and Roger Taylor was sensational, than not to be missed. Lacuna filled and abundant satisfaction. Entertainment egregious, ladder scream, setting world-class performance of the musicians unassailable, participating audience beyond measure.
This absolute synthesis in what I take away from the Forum of Assago. The evening from veterans, the presence of the stands of basketball suggests that it is minded to seat as many people as possible, because after a while 'your back hurts (and I know it well, unfortunately). Geriatric considerations aside, the parterre fills enough only a few minutes before the start of the show. You are beautiful wide, although the sides of the platforms that reach almost half hall there tightens even willingly. Sold-out yes, but comfortable in short.
It starts with ultra precise One Vision. Lighting system and exaggerated production by Top rated (now you understand why the pigeon cost 50 cards). Audio ranging settling quickly (although in the stands the beat we imagine for a while ', which is struggling to feel decently snare guys ...) and comes just before the bomb: Stone Cold Crazy seems that the covers of Metallica much higher the level of the volumes. Roger Taylor plays it in cinnamon, Adam Lambert slowly begins to carburetor with voice and on Fat Bottomed Girls begins to make the public see what he is made of Italian. Leaving aside its theatricality, the costume changes, the grimaces and the like, the former American Idol singer proves to have a mastery of the stage crazy. In addition to resemble Mauro Icardi but oh well.
Q3 note: Mauro Icardi is a gorgeous footballer from Argentina. This is a huge compliment.
This Google translation is awful but you can get the point as long as you do not start to take it too literally. Is translated by Google as “Adam Lambert slowly begins to carburetor with voice and on Fat Bottomed Girls begins to make the public see what he is made of Italian.” I would translated it as, “Adam Lambert slowly begins to burn/heat up (carborate) his voice and on Fat Bottomed Girls begins to show the Italian audience how it is done.”

Remains a doubt: how the hell did he recover so quickly from illness which forced the band to cancel the concert in Brussels just two days ago? Miracles of medicine and herbal teas for voice. The first hour is a succession of emotions absurd. Seven Seas of Rhye, Killer Queen, I Want to Break Free and Somebody to Love come one after the other. The Forum goes into raptures, sings, cries and does not stop for a moment. Adam says, "You are exceptional, the best." Shortly after you want even more well by all present: "Thanks for giving me the opportunity to be here and to try to sing these songs next to these legends. We are all here to remember and pay tribute Freddie Mercury. "
Chills down my spine and tears on the cheeks when Brian wields a twelve-string, sits at the center of the building using the length of the central and attacks pedanone Love Of My Life. The guitarist before you take a round of applause that never seems to end. The audience cheered him and really loves, he is really touched. So are we. Awesome silence that reigns during the first few notes of the piece. When he appears on the screens Freddie singing a verse emotion is too strong for many. Roger reaches colleague, part These Are the Days of Our Lives, other archival footage is accented frames of that John Deacon (acclaimed) who has always called out concerts of Two thousand years of "Queen something more." We applaud Spike Edney, keyboardist and leader in many areas this evening. Carves out its own space even Rufus, son of Roger Taylor.
The pace is useless to deny it, slows heavily. True, A Kind of Magic and Under Pressure are too good, but unfortunately we find ourselves immersed in the midst of a magma of solos, drum battle, bass lines that, after a while ', we break the Maronites enough. Different speech for only Brian May. Thanks to laser and effettistiche assorted, one of the most important guitarists in rock history, gives vibration prog high intensity to the whole audience, prolonging Last Horizon in a crescendo of riffs and virtuosity.
Adam proves to be a top player on Who Wants to Live Forever, while the fireworks come on an incredible sequence featuring Tie Your Mother Down, I Want It All, Radio Ga Ga, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Bohemian Rhapsody. To be honest it is time to raise Freddie on this last piece. The video tribute to the immortal singer have already been enough: to sing the first verse to Lambert, the second to Freddie and interspersed the final likewise has no sense frankly.
Q3 note: This sentence, “A dirla tutta sarebbe ora di levare Freddie su quest’ultimo pezzo. I tributi video all’immortale singer sono già stati sufficienti: far cantare la prima strofa a Lambert, la seconda a Freddie e inframezzare il finale allo stesso modo non ha francamente senso.” should be: “To be honest, it is time to bring Freddie back on the latter piece. There has already been enough tribute video to immortal singer: to have the first verse sung by Lambert, the second by Freddie and the final interspersed likewise, frankly did not make sense."
Ia are the obvious We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions. Thus ends an absolute event, an evening of celebration and celebration that will surely remain in the minds of those present, earning a privileged position in the year-end rankings. Clear: both craft, so much intelligence in managing the pauses to catch his breath and Lambert and Taylor (appeared really tried last half hour) and a total duration of two hours and twenty minutes, which, net of various solos and breaks, could get serenely around an hour and a half. But it would be unfair to the critics at all costs in front of a group that, like it or not, this evening again proved to be in great shape. As we have said in the post-Monaco of Bavaria, the new incarnation of the Queen works pretty darn well. It would be quite useless to deny that this show deserves to be seen by all those who think seriously about love music. The other controversy scoliamocele front of a beer, not after a "thing" like that tonight.
As we already wrote after Munich, the new incarnation of the Queen works pretty darn well. And it would be entirely pointless denying that this show deserves to be seen by everyone who seriously loves music."
