I Queen con Adam Lambert incantano Milano. Il giovane vocalist strappa applausi con la sua sontuosa prestazione e convince anche i più scettici. La leggendaria rock band si dimostra più viva che mai.
Successo strepitoso, oltre ogni aspettativa quello del concerto dei Queen a Milano il 10 Febbraio scorso. Eppure alla vigilia i dubbi erano molti. La scelta della rock band di puntare su Adam Lambert, cantante divenuto noto grazie alla seconda posizione conquistata al talent show “American Idol”, come sostituto dell’indimenticabile Freddie Mercury aveva suscitato non poche perplessità. Perplessità alimentate anche dal suo stato di salute. Infatti una bronchite aveva impedito al vocalist di esibirsi a Bruxelles solamente pochi giorni prima.
Alla fine però anche i più scettici si sono dovuti ricredere. Il giovane cantante è riuscito nell’impresa di esaltare tutti quanti con la sua performance, sia a livello di presenza scenica, mostrandosi in grande forma, che a livello tecnico, sfoggiando tutte le sue qualità.
Il massimo lo ha raggiunto sulle note di “Killer Queen”, dove ha dato libero sfogo a tutti i suoi tecnicismi, sfoggiando un’ottima padronanza delle scale canore e un potente falsetto. Insomma, senza ombra di dubbio è riuscito in un arduo compito dove in passato voci molto più popolari e artisti più blasonati di lui avevano fallito.
Il successo di oltre due ore di concerto è dovuto anche alla magistrale prestazione dei membri storici della band inglese, Brian May e Roger Taylor. Il primo ha regalato memorabili assoli che hanno impreziosito ogni canzone, mentre il secondo ha sostenuto a colpi di bacchette i brani musicali con la stessa verve di quando era giovane, lasciando il posto di batterista al figlio solamente per cantare “These Are The Days Of Our Lives” e “It’s A Kind Of Magic“.
Il gruppo rock ha riproposto tutti i grandi successi della propria carriera regalando emozioni al pubblico che ha risposto cantando a squarciagola il bis dei brani “We Will Rock You” e “We Are The Champions”. La rock band ha dimostrato che sarà difficile spodestarla dal trono di regina.
