Remember his own words: SIDE BY SIDE PROJECTS He can easily do both with proper planning, such as promoting the new album in S.Am. while he is there with Queen. More than one way to get things done. He's got this. YESSSSSSSS...Ms. Magick Mind, Graciejane! Adam's a master multi-tasker and A3 is a global release. It could happen. Yes, indeedy. (Sorry, every time I see TOH, I look down at my feet. I'll have to stick to A3, bear with me. ) ETA: SNAP, Lelemaple!!
DAMN!!! what has been seen cannot be unseen. Maybe we should just call it High???

Agree totally. Adam said he spun into a funk not knowing what direction was next. I do believe leaving Queen to pursue his solo career will also be a transition. QAL was a tight unit and the music, a known quantity. I would think any artist getting ready to drop a new album might have some times of uneasiness until feedback starts coming in as to the reception of said music. In some ways that might be more difficult. If anyone can handle pressure, Adam surely has shown his steadfast ability to do so. With a smirk and a smile. Well I love that line because I am expecting that TOH will have some funk, R&B and house involved with it. Just my guess.
No pop/rock? Now I'm wondering where's the Queen influence on his songwriting.

Vivlite, when you see TOH you think "toe". I guess I'm dyslexic because I always think hot! I guess we have a case of hot toes then, you think, Rama? A3 is easier for me...hot isn't so bad, tho.

Adam could easily release his album in the Summer then do something with Q+AL in the Fall. Most of the album promotion will be before the album is released. Plus, they do most of the work well in advance. And a trip to South America + South Africa will only take 2 weeks. ETA: And there are other sources (within Queen "world", not fans) that say they are going to Argentina. Since he has gained the respect and love of so many Queen fans, what are the chances of his performing his single if they play South America?
I think Adam will draw the line here. I remember when fans was asking if he's going to sing one of his songs, he said it's Queen concert and he's the guest singer so they will be Queen songs. Though he can probably doing promo for TOH at the same time, you know when they interview him he can mention his new single and album.
