just started playing with the ap Shazam and it is really bad ass. On the phone ap you can press listen and it will identify what music is playing. Cool... came back with YouTube locations, video location and lyrics. (WWFM) Been waiting for what it would take to support TOH! But could not do Crawl Thru Fire Love Shazam on my phone. It will even pick out and identify songs played as background at sporting events. Even has a direct link to let you purchase the music. Plus you can listen to the music on Spotify or rdio plus buy the song if you want. I get excited over aps.. I am 12. Should have heard me when I found out I could get an ap that turned my phone into a flashlight. and don't get me started on the bic lighter. |

I can't find the TV schedule online for Idol. April 14th seems really early/strange doesn't it? Doesn't it usually run an add'l month? I had just assumed that Adam would sing his new single on Idol....but on or before April 14th.....that doesn't seem likely. Maybe PattiHum can weigh in since she knows Idol. I got it from MJsBigBlog. I'd be perfectly happy for Adam to never perform on Idol again. I know that's unlikely, but he needs to move past the franchise - seriously is there another artist from AI who has given back to the show in the way he has. #dutydone #jimmykimmel #SNL Yeah I agree if Adam wants to be taken seriousley as an artist. Stray away from idol, he's already performed their enough. I have no idea where he could perform in April though. Idol is & always will be part of Adam's history. Like it or not, Idol discovered him. Idol gave him the break he needed, at age 28!! He embraces it, so do I. It has been a big part of our Pop culture for 14 years now. This year there are quite a few young Kids that are16-17 years old. How big a part of our culture Idol has been, really hit home when these kids said things like, "I've been watching Idol since I was 3!" Can on,y think of one other show they could say that about! Are there other Idols that have supported the show as much as Adam? Yes, Carrie Underwood. The #1 selling Idol, so far!  |

Fox shortened the Idol season this year and switched it to once a week once the live rounds start. They have not released the final schedule yet but that is the spoiler schedule that they leaked. I got it from MJsBigBlog. I know it is going to once a week in 2 weeks. It still is not the complete schedule. It only goes to around Top 8. Finale is in May. |

I don't think promotion would be linked to a "premiere" on American Idol. Sadly, the audience has dropped off and there's no sign that any random viewers are tuning in for the guest performer. He might very well show up on Idol, but the single is not going to be launched there. Ratings are still around 10 million. Not too shabby at all. Put me in the "Adam will perform on Idol but it will not be the premiere performance of his lead single." And I do not think he will be there twice. I do not think that his new music promotion will be that tightly linked to Idol. They are still getting a large audience --around 10 million -- but the demographics are no longer that attractive. The "Idol Bump" is not what it once was. ** I picked up April 14th from MJSBigBlog -- www.mjsbigblog.com/american-idol-season-14-schedule-full-2015.htmBut that must be MAY 14 -- she has two April's listed!!  I have not been following very closely this season and just read the bottom of her schedule. |

10 million is very solid. Broadcast Viewership has declined by about 13%. The only tv show killing it in ratings is The Big Bang Theory. I don't think idol is a good place to launch a single, but can't hurt performing it their. When are the BB Music Awards? Single release in april, so maybe an award show is a good place to launch it. Or snl. The only "awards" show I can find in April is the MTV Movie Awards. ETA: Billboard Music Awards – May 17th 2015 SNL usually is used as a promo appearance but not for a big single debut. Regarding Idol's ratings...there are 7 non-sports shows that have higher ratings in the demo right now. And the new "death star" is Empire. Beating Idol..... EMPIRE Modern Family SCANDAL The Voice The Big Bang Theory NCIS The Bachelor Two Broke Girls, Mike and Molly, Grey's Anatomy, and a few other shows are statistically tied with Idol. Just looking at demos, it would be great if he got a walk-on on The Walking Dead. around 12.5 million viewers, mostly in the demo! |
