Hope everyone can appreciate my new avi!
It's from our esteemed Chapf, of course!
I'm sad & happy - - the mark of an Adamtopian.
Each time I hear Brian's 'Lost Horizon' I choose the stars. Each time I hear 'Tie Your Mother Down' I twist and flail and lose my bearings.
Each time I hear 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' I hope no one will be twirled or kissed like I was in Glasgow; must believe that moment was my own. Chapf updated my avi to reflect my dream. She is amazing!!
I don't care about Monte. How much time have we wasted on him today? If Adam responds I'lll pay attention. Otherwise, it's a nonevent. I do, though, wonder how Madonna interprets Monte's comments about 'older' fans . . .
Want to weep when I hear how each concert ends - and now, we have only two more. In the beginning - way back in Chicago - the show was brilliant. Now I see AFL like he was in 'Crawl thru Fire' - absolutely owning the performance.
I recall my old days; on a much smaller stage. As the weeks would go by, our family of charlatans would gain such confidence in one another. We would begin to play; to become characters instead of performers. I have seen this happen with AFL and Brian & Roger. Their confidence in Adam allows Adam to create in the moment. They are onstage with supreme confidence in the make-believe creation that will certainly happen. AFL feels that confidence; that promise. It's a nod to his future! A blessing to his future. Go! Be Amazing! Blow the roof! SOAR. He's never needed 'permission'. My wonder lies in the joy Queen has in their new star.
Dare I say we owe so much to Queen . . . Brian and Roger. They saw what we saw. Alone, we could do nothing - nothing - beyond our discovery of Adam and his gift. Lord knows we tried.
They brought the world to listen and see. All the beauty is here!
I've loosened my seat belt. I don't want to be strapped in. I want to be flung into this next experience. Into the stars or down to the quagmire. I'm ready to come out alive.
