Probably in the minority here, but I Think its time too cool the whole Queen thing for a while. Personally I would be happy if their was no Queen for a while after SA. I know everyone loves the collab, I do too. But I would like to think next year Adam is touring solo, but thats just me. Well I'm inclined to agree with you. I've loved QAL too and was totally blown away by the gig I attended in Nottingham, overall the collaboration has been a wonderful thing for Adam, particularly here in the UK where that NYE broadcast was an absolute coup.  However, I feel it's very much time to focus on the solo stuff, not least to leverage all the buzz and goodwill that QAL has generated. |

Queen has a great big period on it. It is not going to last for years and years. IMHO it is carpe diem. Adam can do both easily at least until he tours the album. Why wouldn't he? |

Of course but my point wasn't that fans should at any time cease to enjoy the fruits of the QAL collaboration so far, goodness knows I love all that stuff myself. My point was rather that Adam's energies, schedule and PR now and for the foreseeable future need to be focused ruthlessly on The Original High and , in my opinion, further QAL dates/projects at this time might well dilute that push. Eyes on the prize and all that , the stakes are very high after all. |
