While we're all wallowing in post-tour blues.... ..... A side note about post-tour blues: I think a large part of it is due to the fact that we have no *concrete* date to look forward to in the near future. As soon as the single release date is announced, or the date of a public appearance is announced, the blues will vanish. I felt the same way after the 2014 tour when there was that ~month-long period when we had no clue when we'd see Adam next; we just hoped he would surface soon. I think you are right! I have a feeling of some "vacuum", although I do know there will be"stuff" happening before the single drop. May be we'll hear about the MV shoot, may be some interviews... actually, what are the typical pre-announcement activities in pop world?

Eagle eyed Gelly found a golden tidbit in this You Tube! Bradford Cobb was also with Adam! One of the heads of DMG!! Bet he was there for the press/preview day! Think other guy might be head of WBR UK divison! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTb3UUkjwjg&feature=youtu.beLOL. We mentioned/briefly discussed Bradford Cobb here on Atop after the video surfaced. ( I think Q3 confirmed it was him)...Where were you? LOL. But we didn't notice/mention the WBR UK head, Max Lousada...IDT.....so that's interesting. Mentioned it? Mentioned it?!! THIS IS HUGE, PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But when the QAL ended in 2014, we didn't have a date for the new single or album! Now we do and it is sooooooooooo close!!

As excited as I am for the upcoming TOH period and all the goodies it will have to offer, I'll be missing QAL desperately until they regroup. Their collaboration has not only produced some wonderful performances and propelled Adam and his career into the stratosphere -- it has rekindled my love (May-nia?) for Queen. I was a huge fan when I was younger but moved on after Freddie died. That is, until they forged a partnership with Adam. Then I was reminded just how fantastic Brian and Roger were (and still are, unlike some of their contemporaries who still perform but with severely diminished skills). It's no problem to be a fanatical Glambert and Queenie at the same time! Even as Adam ramps ups his solo activities, I'm gonna be seeking out Taylor & May news.

Brian May just favorited my tweet -- YAY!!!!! Dr. Brian May favorited your Tweet 9h: @adamlambert @queenwillrock @drbrianmay @ruttaylor1 @officialrmt @spikessasband & Neil Fairclough -- Thank you for a great ride! Amazing! He favorited mine too! I know he favs lots of tweets, but it's still a thrill. I see he favorited a few more Atoppers tweets from yesterday. So glad I took a sec to send a TY tweet and he saw it. Sheila @bamafanpf @adamlambert @drbrianmay @officialrmt @queenwillrock @ruttaylor1 Thank you so much for the glorious UK/EU leg of the QAL tour! U Rocked Us! 03:53 PM - 27 Feb 15 Favorited by Dr. Brian May Dr. Brian May @drbrianmay Rocket Ship Builder Sauli and Seth look like twins walking out to the car in Liverpool. So funny. I think Adam has sufficient focus and energy at this point in his career to handle both his solo work and QAL. "Side by side projects" as he said. I love that we'll see him hopefully alternating the two, with who knows what all else thrown in like TV, movies, product endorsements, etc. It's total win/win IMO. I want him to do it all and I want him to do it now! (while he's at his prime and I'm still alive to witness it all...lol) I love Adam, love Queen, and hope they will keep this collaboration going for a long, long time. And I hope Adam does all sorts of amazing and wonderful things in his solo career and has top-selling singles and albums and multiple awards to show for it. And like you, Bamafan, I just want to "take it all in"! From one who is seriously challenged when it comes to embedding pics, videos, etc., a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has brought and continues to bring so many of these to this forum. You ROCK!! </img>

I like to picture this as an intimate meeting where AFL has the ear of these top execs all to himself, and the only topics of conversation are his future and awesomeness.

While not naming names (because there are so many of you to thank), I just want to add my BIG THANK YOU to everyone for providing for us on this forum all those videos, streaming, reviews, and personal recaps of your adventures on this remarkable tour. I got a thrill every time I saw the kabuki curtain whoosh up for another performance.
I posted a comparison of Queen with Freddie and Queen with Adam on the 2/25/15 thread in response to Talon's analysis. I don't want to bring this over again here, but one of my points was that Queen with Adam seemed to be filled with so much joy - for Adam, for Brian and Roger and the rest of the band, and for us, the audience.
We now can treasure our own special memories of this tour whether from being actually there or from seeing the videos and hearing the streams. Among my own special memories are hearing "In The Lap of the Gods" for the first time; the look on Brian's face at the conclusion of the performance at The Forum (LA); the riff between Adam and Brian (the whale song) - utter magic; and over-all views of audiences really getting into it (the audience at Krakow in particular stood out for me). Leonard Nimoy has a son named Adam who passed on Leonard's final tweet: "A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory". The memories for this QAL tour are special indeed.
