The nominations are in for the "Best Of WWTLF QAL 2015". I have created a playlist for you to review the candidates, and a poll to vote for your favorite. With apologies, I realized that I left off the Multicam Amsterdam version with wonderful visuals and a great vocal, so I revised the poll. One person already voted, so if that was you, please vote again. Enjoy heavenly music while we wait for TOH, and vote! adamtopia.com/thread/2860/best-qal-2015-wwtlf

This is OTT but I have to tell you before I forget it. When I was in New York for the MSG show I was walking at Times Square and looking for some souvenir for my sons. One man was selling panama hats and I stopped in front of him. When he saw my Queen-T-Shirt (not in this pic) he started to sing "An Other One Bites to Dust ... Whoooo! And I bought 3 panama hats! Aww...you look so pretty! I love your shirt...I bet Adam would love it too! You bought three hats from the man singing AOBTD...LOL! I wonder how many more you would have bought if he starting singing more of the Queen catalog?! So cute!!

Clean Bandit and Robin Schulz are very, very successful at the moment here in Germany. And these two songs that lm2718 posted are massive radio hits. And it is clear that this is what Adam wants. So if he follows that path and his music is catchy he'll sure have radio success. It's just music I can't stand. Generic, boring and it gets on my nerves very fast. My whole dilemma has gotta do with the fact that I've never been a fan of a person or a voice in the first place and then the music this person is making coming in second place. I've always fallen in love with music and then with the musician doing that music. So now I am in love with a voice and I have to follow where this voice intends to go. Being in love is sometimes hard ...

Thank you so very much for the birthday wishes! I am stuck at home in a snowstorm today and can't go out anywhere but it's so nice to celebrate here with my fellow AL fans.

House? Deep house? Out house? I don't know what all this means. I did love his "Red House"! I just know I love AFL & his voice & I will love whatever he chooses to give us. Other than AFL, my old iPod is full of blues, classic rock, good ole New Orleans funk...all from the 60s-70s & a bit of the 80s. I am a dinosaur...but, I can still move my ass to a beat. I want to dance. I want to feel the music moving through me. I want real instruments played by real musicians. I want it to thrill me to my bones. I still get goosebumps when I watch Adam's AI performances of WWL & ROF...among others. HIS "Tracks of My Tears" makes me cry every time. No...I'm NOT saying that is the kind of music he "should be" singing, only that he has the power to move me no matter what he sings. That is his gift. Look what he does with those riffs with Brian...magical! I really don't think mere words are adequate to describe what ADAM does with musical notes. He can't be labeled or put into a "genre" box. I want him to give us what moves HIM. That is "The Original High" to me.
