Old news (or non-news) but does anyone know if AM Remix made the 10@10 on Friday? Myspenser was at a concert and I couldn't listen either. I'm assuming not, but you know what assuming does......... There's a discussion about Idol's earnings from Forbes on another site. IIRC Q3 said those figures should be coming out soon for 2010 and Adam will have done very well. I think the figures being discussed on the other site were from 2009 but I'm not sure. Q3? Anyone? The Forbes numbers are not very accurate but I view them as directionally correct. Meaning -- that if Forbes estimates that someone made $10 million last year, then they probably did just fine. Last year Billboard did an estimate of music and touring revenue. It was also an estimate. A roomful of accountants and lawyers have a hard time agreeing on how much an artist with a lot of licensing activity and royalties and products and complex touring like Adam has actually made. No way that Forbes or Billboard or any outside media entity can figure it at without access. That said, the 2009 Forbes estimates for Kris and Adam were probably very close to accurate because the Idol advances, Idol tour income, and music royalties are mostly know. And the AI8 Idol contracts specified the Disney advances by finish. In any case, Adam had a very nice 2010 and he got a big advance on Adam #2 and he keeps selling stuff. He is doing fine. |
