I think if the release dates were closer together there might be more confusion but Madonna's song is already impacting on on radio. I checked the mediabase charts and it is primarily getting adds on HAC. It is currently sitting at #42 on the HAC chart mediabase chart with 277 spins (up from 5 spins last week) with an AI of 1.5 million (AI is audience impression). I really wouldn't worry about the similar song titles. They are two completely different songs and artists. WBR knows what they are doing. The big difference between the Published Panel and All Stations charts, obviously, is at AC, where it has 490 spins and 4.713m audience. AQUARIANS ARE USUALLY AHEAD OF THE REST OF US. HOPE HIS NEW SOUND CATCHES ON. Had an Aquarian boss that I had to quarantine his ideas for 1-2 years because when first presented sounded out of this world. It worked. He was a genius but it was hard to get acceptance of some of his ideas when we first heard them. ANOTHER THING I DON'T UNDERSTAND IS HOW SONG TITLES ARE NOT COPYRIGHTED. RECENTLY, 2 "LAY ME DOWNS" AND NOW 2 "GHOST TOWNS" there is no way to copyright a title to anything. If you check ASCAP there are literally hundreds of songs with the same title. |

I would think if they were going to "copy" something they would have at least changed the title :D |

It's been a VERY long time since we've had new music to listen to. I hope we all sit back and enjoy the ride and leave the worry beads in the drawer. Much of this is totally out of our hands so why not just enjoy it  |
