Damn, I simply have to learn more about music.
What you are referring to as whistling I thought was a flute. I thought of Jethro Tull (another age reveal).

Adam or his management is sadistic. A snippet without one second of his voice? Torture. It doesn't matter if the song is as good as Bohemian Rhapsody or Yesterday if his voice is not there. It's the equivalent of previewing a work of art by showing us the corner of the frame. But we do get his breathing and we know he only breathes loud enough to hear if there is a purpose behind it. Of course getting the listeners all "hot" seems to be a pretty good purpose.

Pure Ennio Morricone country&western reference, great! The whistle is really distinctive, something different that grabs your attention, connects to memories and sticks. I wonder if there'll be the coyote (dog?) barking that he did in the IG vid from Sweden, too - that would be a memorable element as well. Will the song be fiery and menacing describing the mood before a fight - or is that hint of an angry vibe just a contrast for lamenting vocals of a troubled mind, an outsider feeling like a ghost with everyone else bustling around, stopped in his tracks when no one notices he's feeling emptiness inside, longing or missing for something/someone? Or is he facing a hard decision to make, fighting for something, for his freedom or for his place? Or perhaps a lone rider on his own path facing adversity? And then there's the beat which is inevitably rolling forward - it could as well tell about relaxed observer enjoying being in his own world and not bothered by anyone, seeing others fight but taking the road to surrender to his destiny and enjoy what it brings. Sorry, that's just rambling. Too early for guessing, really. And definitely too long for April 21st.

AQUARIANS ARE USUALLY AHEAD OF THE REST OF US. HOPE HIS NEW SOUND CATCHES ON. Had an Aquarian boss that I had to quarantine his ideas for 1-2 years because when first presented sounded out of this world. It worked. He was a genius but it was hard to get acceptance of some of his ideas when we first heard them. ANOTHER THING I DON'T UNDERSTAND IS HOW SONG TITLES ARE NOT COPYRIGHTED. RECENTLY, 2 "LAY ME DOWNS" AND NOW 2 "GHOST TOWNS" there is no way to copyright a title to anything. If you check ASCAP there are literally hundreds of songs with the same title. Could you imagine the nightmare? Thousands of songs are produced a year, from thousands of different artists/musicians. We'd quickly be reduced to nonsensical song names.

In any event, if it is Adam whistling it is strangely hot for me. Esoteric. Exotic. Hidden skills. Things I don't associate with Adam Lambert. Always a surprise. Plus, pursed lips.
Almost as good as if I could see him wink.

So excited when I checked in this morning and found we were at page 10 and love the snippet but I'm a little worried that the snippet sounds like this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=slmb4ZZ5pkY I don't detect any similarities and don't think there's anything at all to worry about Loved the video though, I was a big 2-Tone/Ska fan in my day.

LOL yeah song titles would be reduced to mathematical symbols because they are infinite.

Not an Eastwood fan anymore, but I totally loved him in the spaghetti western period. And yes, the snippet and look - reminds me of that period. Not a fan yet of the new sound - have to hear more.
