Checked on mileage. To get from Tahiti to Finland it's shortest to fly back over the US. Now if he were going to Bali. Then it's shorter to fly to Finland and Sweden from Bali. I've explained to a friend that everything I know these days I learn on Adamtopia, from the Icelandic volcano last spring to the m o of radio play to the fastest way to get to Finland from the South Pacific. The Encyclopedia Brittanica (do they even have that any more?) and Wikipedia have nothing on you ninjas. Ha ha, me too. Hubby is a real news hound and I've beat him to the punch on several occasions because I learn things so quickly from Atop news ninjas.

bit.ly/iifNNsI don't know, ladies, I may have to switch allegiance and I'm sure most of ATOP will come with me, knowing how we like our men hot and disheveled. I'm not sure if this is a joke or for real, only have a few minutes, so not taking the time to find out. But I'm glad there is somewhere to get a reliable point of view on American health care. Oh, and I did read somewhere that Sauli is fairly fluent and he was explaining that pretty much everyone in Finland speaks English. Unlike some of you, couldn't find where I saw this if my life depended on it.

Does Sauli speak English? I've been looking thru articles, youtubes, etc. can't fiind anything. Just curious. Other than his carefree, smiley personality I was wondering if communication between them might be a challenge, or if words simply aren't necessary at this phase of their relationship. lol. Although I don't know about Sauli specifically, most Finnish people speak multiple languages. I've only met a couple people from Finland - 1 spoke at least English, Swedish & French (and I assume Finnish) and I never asked how many other languages. THe other was a work colleage and he spoke at least a dozen languages - he only considered himself fluent in 7. His definition of fluent was that he thinks in the language as he uses it. In general, the Europeans are much better about languages than we are in the USA, but the Finns seem to be a step beyond even that! I don't know about Sauli's language skills, but I presume he is okay with English, being the age he is and having English all around us by tv, games, internet, music. And also, the more he speaks the more he learns too - and he has travelled quite a bit too. I really wouldn't think Adam had found him interesting enough if he couldn't communicate with him pretty fluently. Most of us speak Finnish and some English and either speak/understand some Swedish too. Personally I, for example, am fluent in Finnish, okay (I think) in English, can get by with Swedish (=understand more than I can fluently speak), and can understand written Norwegian and Danish (but not much when they are spoken :D), know some German, French and Spanish.

To hear more of the interview, and find out if Lambert is dating anyone, tune into the full interview on tonight's show at 7.30 et/pt. by CPrice at 2/16/2011 2:49:52 PM4:49 PM So is that all there is? Sometimes the sites will post more than just what is shown on TV, like when ET did the IIHY shoot exclusive, just hoping for more. I think that's all there is. Their "preview" was almost the whole thing. I was also hoping for more. What else is new.

I love his hair in this cover and if I were 10, instead of 110 - I would be in love ! ;D ;D ;D

I had a friend from Finland many years ago in England, and she told me that Finnish is the most incredibly difficult language and that Swedish and English are taught to children early on. I believe the FInns HAVE to speak as many European languages as possible, as no one is going to learn Finnish !!! :D :D :D Hey, my brother's wife is from China and she has learned Finnish pretty well in the 2 years she has lived in Finland .

Oh, yeah? Well, I speak English and I can say "Throw your gum in the wastebasket, please" in Spanish and--uh, that's all.
Slinks away quietly and hopes no one noticed.

Sure, she only said it was difficult. I think the point is that in order to move about Europe and do business, go to college, etc. It is essential to be fluent in English and other main languages.
