YW NEEDACOKE!!I am def not tech savvy, or very creative, but I found a great web site called HotGlitters.net that has all kinds of sayings. It is very easy to use, too. Gives the link right under the saying, so all you have to do is copy, and paste here. For the names I just used our reply box options. Try it some time! ET: LOL, I screwed up and had to re-do!

I'm sorry - I didn't mean to show off or anything such - just stating the fact of a survival game named "being a tiny Finn in the big big world" :D:D. We start languages at school quite early, you are right - starting early makes it a lot easier. I It is much easier if they start early. The school my grandkids (ages 6 & 9) attend in Atlanta teaches French in every grade. I think they have four full time French teachers for the school. The preschool they attended taught French and Spanish - you got to choose which your child would take. My 6-year old grandaughter also has been taking Chinese in private lessons for 2 years. It's amazing what a little sponge brain a 6-year old can have. Sadly, this doesn't always work! My son went to a Montessori school and supposedly learned Spanish & French starting at 15 months old. Most of the kids spoke fairly well in both languages by kindergarten - my son and a few others seemed to be "language intollerant" ;D and he only managed to learn a few words in either language (however, in math, science, music & reading he was way ahead of his age) I am dreading when he has to learn a language in High School - I suspect it will not be a fun experience for any of us.

Do you think Adam keeps his hands in his pockets when he is in public with Sauli because they just can't keep their hands off each other, otherwise! Yep!! I think he is a real toucher by nature.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!![glow=red,2,300][/glow]

His twin sister is in a band and is quite good, I have heard! I listened to a youtube of the band-don't remember where I saw the link- she is pretty good. Not my exact kind of music, but she's good. It may not be his twin, though- maybe one of the older sisters? Sauli's sister and her band. Saana is the second eldest sister and she sure sings well in the English Language. www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_RjQkuIs_0Another vid--can actually see her...She looks quite different than her other sisters. www.youtube.com/watch?v=msMd8zm_6uU&feature=related

Don't despair, pjd. I lived through this scenario with my now 28-year-old. Once he graduated high school (which I'll admit was a struggle), he pursued his real language - computer programming. He did very well in college and was hired two weeks after graduation (much to his dismay) for an excellent position and has had three promotions so far. Sometimes, you just have to wait it out until it gets better - sound familiar?

Just got home to all the beautiful Adam and Sauli looking so happy pictures. Feeling squishy along with the rest of you.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY S*&@^#R AND IRISH!
These pictures really make me want to know more about Sauli and to watch some of those videos of his show that I never watched. I remember there were some of the time he was on BB also. Does anyone have links for any of that?
And I'd love to listen to his sister's band if anyone has that link...
ETA: Thanks, My S*&@^#r for posting it already.
Also, the girls in my 8th grade classes mostly already think they are too cool for Justin.
