I'm so bummed I missed the twitter party because I totally have a song request and while I'm not on twitter I'da asked one of you lovely people to tweet it to him for me, but now its too late? Cause I would die if Adam had a "narrative" song on his album, you know, a song that tells a story about a person, not him. Something lyrically strong and unusual. Classic examples are the Beatles "Eleanor Rigby," Paul Simon's "Lincoln Duncan," MJ's "Billy Jean,"--I'm sure there are many other even awesome-er ones but you get the idea. I'd love to see something like that, something kinda outa the box and not the standard love/party/heartbreak song. But I'm twiliterate, as I like to say, and dunno how I could squeeze that request into 140 characters anyway. I'll have to just hope for Che Mascara instead, LOL (LOVE THE LAMBERT MEN!!) hey midwivespal, I used twitlonger to quote you and tweeted him your suggestion (a great one!) 'cause lots of people are still sending him idea tweets. You should sign up for twitter though, it's super easy. You just need to go to twitter.com and create a username and password. Then you can follow another Adam fan and get links to Adam and related people through them to make it simple and quick. Gosh, Rabbitrabbit, you are such a sweetheart to do that for me! Thankyou! *blushes at the thought of Adam possibly reading my idea*. You're right about getting on twitter--I've kind of been meaning to take the plunge, but then I wonder if it should be an adamfandomonly account or a RL too, account, and then I panic slightly unreasonably at the thought of the two mixing, and then I get annoyed at myself for panicking, and then the whole mental conversation spirals out of the control, and, you get the picture, no twitter account is ever begun. Things take me a little while. Might still happen one day. But lovely helpful people like you give me an out, LOL. PS-loved your thoughts above on art and marketing. |

I have never opened a facebook account and don't really want one, except when I would like to vote or something Adam related. The recent suggestion of opening a fandom gmail account and relating that to facebook seemed like a good idea until I tried to come up with a username and that stops me cold every single time. I sometimes lay in bed before falling off to sleep trying to figure out a unique and descriptive moniker and nothing comes to mind. Especially when you factor in the need to remember it on a somewhat frequent basis. I think it was 4Msrmyn recently who was trying to remember the twitter name she used to open her account and couldn't. LOL, but I empathize. One of these days I expect to wake up suddenly in the middle of the night, screaming the perfect name. As you said, "Might still happen one day." Seriously, I think it was easier to name both my children. Sheesh. |

Unsure. I just got concerned when I read your post and tried to find more info about it and came across this link. Maybe other peeps are more in the know? Thanks for the welcome. I've been lurking forever and I love all of you even though I don't know you. Isn't that strange. I am so happy that Adam came into my life. I have never been so thoroughly entertained by anyone else before. I'm glad I've got this site, because my family doesn't quite understand!!!

I have a little photo album with index cards to keep my computer info on. It helps keep me organized. If you open a twitter account you may want to be aware that you can set the times it comes thru on your phone so that you & others aren't woken up if that would be an issue (never know when Adam will get chatty) Welcome to all the new members !
