LindaG23 You just posted a cute name "Sheesh" !! I have a little photo album with index cards to keep my computer info on. It helps keep me organized. If you open a twitter account you may want to be aware that you can set the times it comes thru on your phone so that you & others aren't woken up if that would be an issue (never know when Adam will get chatty) Welcome to all the new members ! Thanks las. I like the idea of a photo album with index cards to keep computer info organized. Index cards are so handy; they come in different colors, are easy to replace when info gets old, you can color little doodles of Adam with a stache using sharpies when you are bored, so many good things and sometimes it is good NOT to save computer information on the computer. A few weeks ago my son needed some password info we set up for college apps and I looked all over and couldn't find it. Last week I was randomly cleaning up my email account and there it was ... I had emailed to myself so it wouldn't get lost. Sheesh : I picked myself up a very small Compostion notebook that I could slip in my computer briefcase so I'd have all my passwords and web information handy because I sure couldn't remember all of it! :

You're right about getting on twitter--I've kind of been meaning to take the plunge, but then I wonder if it should be an adamfandomonly account or a RL too, account, and then I panic slightly unreasonably at the thought of the two mixing, and then I get annoyed at myself for panicking, and then the whole mental conversation spirals out of the control, and, you get the picture, no twitter account is ever begun. Things take me a little while. Might still happen one day. But lovely helpful people like you give me an out, LOL. mwp - I know what you mean about getting on twitter. I have never opened a facebook account and don't really want one, except when I would like to vote or something Adam related. The recent suggestion of opening a fandom gmail account and relating that to facebook seemed like a good idea until I tried to come up with a username and that stops me cold every single time. I sometimes lay in bed before falling off to sleep trying to figure out a unique and descriptive moniker and nothing comes to mind. Especially when you factor in the need to remember it on a somewhat frequent basis. I think it was 4Msrmyn recently who was trying to remember the twitter name she used to open her account and couldn't. LOL, but I empathize. One of these days I expect to wake up suddenly in the middle of the night, screaming the perfect name. As you said, "Might still happen one day." Seriously, I think it was easier to name both my children. Sheesh. Oh golly, how I relate! I opened a twitter account - back when, I'm not sure - but I must have opened one because my personal email 'contact' is taken. The other nite, for the life of me I could not remember what I might have called myself. So I created a new twitter account and a 'new name' - which, I've now learned is a terrible one - - no rak stah wants to reply to a 'mom'! Um - and I listed as my email, my work address. AAKK. Big mistake. Came to work the next day, and in the middle of all sorts of confidential medical emails and 'protected health information' came Twitter tweets!! I'm waiting for the call from quality/risk management and corporate compliance. Being an ignoramous isn't good when you're on the internet. Hey - - - maybe that should be my twitter name. . . .

Cheeks isn't on this list. He is in a very different position than the other friends. The rest haven't experienced hatred. Brad has never asked fans for money for himself, only charity. I don't see him being jealous of Adam's career. I can see it being difficult to have and "ex" that you just can't escape. Not only old pictures of when things were good between you, but also pictures of the "ex" with someone new. Adam being everywhere and smiling with Sauli has to be hard, no matter how long ago their relationship ended. The pictures are very different with Sauli than Drake. Adam's attitude is very different. Brad's feed has been filled with hateful fans tweeting him pictures of Adam and Sauli. Making immature comments about Adam being happy. How hard is it for Brad to date again? Is it intimidating for someone to get in a relationship with someone that has a famous ex? Adam has always said he has only been in love once. That answer becoming "twice" would have to hurt. We don't know their complete history. We only know that Brad had enough character and respect for Adam not to sell his story (Is there any doubt he could?). We also know that Adam has never said one thing bordering on negative about Brad. Relationships don't work for a variety of reasons, but being forced to watch the other move on still stings. RE: Brad sucking it up and not whining because he is famous. He has the trappings of fame without the benefits. He is still a struggling young artist with more fame than money. Cassie, I love your post from last night. Just to be fair, Cheeks has benefited from the reflected fame, and in part has hinted at his past relationship to do so. He addresses that in this response to a comment on his "Sparkle Sharper" post: I think of course he has been very discrete and kudos to him for being a decent human being, but just because he isn't selling a physical object - an album or a calendar, or a series of live shows, doesn't mean he isn't selling hits on a website or intending to do so (there is a donate here link). Previously he marketed himself as a kind of clever and positive web comedian, a youtube version of Michelle collins for lack of a better analogy, plus put out a few music singles. Now I'm not quite sure what form his site will eventually take, but it's a combo of a lot of things - a design tumblr, quasi-spiritual/self-help advice, music remix postings, pet photos, and again, driven by hits and comments. Many of his most active participants are Adam fans, and in his follow up comment weyume.com/2011/04/27/holla-back-6/ he makes clear that he is fine with that, he just doesn't want to hear criticism from anyone who is not actively commenting with equal heapings of praise. I grant that you could give him points for not asking for money for some form of physical art project, but I wouldn't hold it against him if he did. It's up to him to decide what to create and sell, and it looks like, at the moment, the most tangible thing he is offering is a cult of personality and some insightful essays? Correct me if I'm wrong. (I just get pretty confused with the talk about his "art" and his "talent" when it isn't currently taking a very concrete form). I just think it's interesting that all his friends are dealing with the surge in fanbase in different ways, and all are in some ways benefiting. (Though I grant that a trickle of inappropriate relationship comments and insinuations are probably a pain to deal with--and reached a breaking point with him). We may have to agree to disagree I don't see a donation link on a web page anything the same as Neil asking for a piano, Sutan saying "I like presents", The Kickstart projects offering Adam things in exchange for donations. A donation link is a very common thing and has nothing to do with Adam. I have been following Brad since April 2009. This is the first time he has ever mentioned the photos, dating Adam or anything about Adam. The closest he got was saying, "I am listening to Adam Lambert on the radio with Adam Lambert in the car. So Weird". I don't know where the web site is going. I do find Cheeks an artist. His videos are good satirical comedy. He is wicked smart ,witty, driven and has great comedic timing. IMO he is funnier than anyone currently on TV. He hasn't caught his break yet, but that doesn't mean he is talented. I guess, for me, the fact that he has admitted to wanting nothing more than fame (he talks of practicing his autograph as a kid) yet didn't trade personal information about Adam for it speaks volumes. How much money would a tell-all book bring him? If he wrote one what reality show would he be on next year? Case in point. Brad is doing a 32 mile bike ride to raise money for diabetes on May 1. He has only raised $820.00. Adam's other friends would have thrown his name around and had that much the first few days. main.diabetes.org/site/TR/TourdeCure/LosAngelesArea?px=5807425&pg=personal&fr_id=7614Has anyone heard from Coke or Bamafan? - worried

Max Martin is in CA wonder if Adam is working with him next week.
Max Martin also won for "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" by Usher with Pitbull and "Whataya Want From Me" by Adam Lambert, who presented the award to the Swedish songwriter/producer. This is the fourth Songwriter of the Year win for Martin, who also earned the coveted prize in 1999, 2000 and 2001 for writing a string of hits, including "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)" by The Backstreet Boys, "Baby One More Time" by Britney Spears and "That's the Way It Is" by Celine Dion.
