Adam Lambert Looks 100% Perfect At The 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards

I’m talking hot as in actual temperature wise–but if you want to pretend that I’m talking about how hot Adam Lambert looked at the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards last night, that works too!

The fabulously perfect singer hit the red carpet in Los Angeles where he talked about his album, looked sexy and took over the iHeartRadio Snapchat, although I didn’t see anything from him on my feed. Did you?

While Adam did have plenty to say about his new album (we’ll get to that in a second) I think my favorite is Adam talking about his leather pants.

Bless you, Associated Press, for asking people about the 90° temperatures happening in LA yesterday. “I decided to wear leather pants to stay cool today,” Adam joked. “I don’t know what I was thinking. I was thinking fashion not comfort. It’s kinda the story of my life–there you go.” And I do so appreciate that about you, Adam. Plus, everything you wore was fabulous.

Adam also had plenty to say about his new album. Talking with Access Hollywood, he said of The Original High, “It’s something different. It’s a different sound for me. I can’t wait for people to hear it.” I can’t wait either! And in case you forgot: his first single “Ghost Town” debuts on April 21st and the album itself comes out during the summer.

The 'For Your Entertainment' hitmaker believes him and the 'Stay With Me' singer have an "understanding" and has praised the star for bringing sexuality to the forefront of the industry.

He said: "Sam Smith, hats off, he has had an amazing year, he’s a lovely guy. I’ve met him a few times. I’m so happy for him, and I’m so happy his sexuality wasn’t a big thorn in his side."

"It was just: ‘This is who I am, I’m cool with it and so you should be too.’ And his songs are timeless and beautiful, and everybody relates to them. He’s doing it right, for sure. I think with me and Sam, there’s definitely an understanding there, like, ‘Hey gurl, how you doing?’

The 33-year-old singer also spoke up about his meetings with pop icons Sir Elton John - who he dubbed a "sweetheart" - and Boy George.

I’ve sat down and had lunch with him before, he’s so smart and has been though a lot, and now he’s in a really good, healthy space, and loves music and is DJing and is still really connected to pop culture. He was really interesting to talk to."

Adam Lambert talks Zayn Malik quitting One Direction

Adam Lambert has addressed Zayn Malik’s departure from One Direction and insisted that he totally understands why the singer felt the need to take some time away from the spotlight.

Zayn started by missing a few 1D concerts earlier this month, after he became embroiled in yet another cheating scandal which of course upset his fiance Perrie Edwards. However his short break turned into a more permanent situation when he announced that he was leaving the band immediately and would no longer be part of the tour or plans for the next album.

Zayn insisted that he needed a more ‘ordinary’ life with his family, friends and of course Perrie and Adam understands why he needed to make the drastic move.

During an interview with Access Hollywood the For Your Entertainment star commented on Malik’s decision saying: “Everybody has their own path on this thing and everybody has got to do what they’ve got to do.

“Sometimes you’ve just got to take time away if it’s too much, I guess that’s what he’s doing.”

When asked if he has ever considered taking similar action and stepping away from his very public career at any stage, Lambert replied: “Not yet.

“I’m in it to win it. I’m here to stay – I’m going to keep fighting for it.”

That will make a LOT of fans around the world incredibly happy…..because the thought of Lambert leaving the scene would be a massive upset we don’t mind admitting.

Adam is currently preparing to release his third studio album and has just finished touring with British rock legends Queen. We can’t wait to see what he has up his sleeve next!
