Leah Reid  Adam has a really good team right now. I do not see how he could be better positioned for success. He has a supportive label who is not shy about spending money to promote music. He has a great management company. Shoshanna and Edge Publicity is as good as they get. He is working with the best producers in the business. And his support team is great. And, I believe the planets are aligned for him in late April. Thank you mys*&@^#r/ pattihum....for the last name. Q3.... I know....it is so exciting and comforting to see the artists Edge represents....and DMG ....with only has a few to work indicates the time commitment they can expend on Adam. Ohhhh....only to know  how they will roll out the media in the US and in other countries, on a bigger scale to highlight, the first single. (sure...a few red carpets to date... and more for the UK folks, or internet/ twitter people...those magazine articles/interviews....step by step....a start) I am excited to see how the team will be organizing to reach the "masses" with more in your face knowledge of Adam/the release, to enhance the buying and streaming. You would think after all these years of following Adam, and reading this site I could think up some creative ways to bring Adam to the consciousness of the everyday people. But, I put all my faith in his team, being that they are in the business to do just that.Every artist seems to be different. Jonas seemed to be all over the media and even before his first song release, so he sure got in the consciousness of America. No one in my world has heard a peep about the new single....until I mention it,  lol.... Well, three weeks remain to rev up and blast out the news. Getting excited!

They really will not start promotion until the single is released. And then they will promote it and Adam. Until then, they will do a bit to raise his profile -- here and there. Nothing intense. Otherwise, people get bored and tune everything out. IMO Lady Gaga was over-hyped for too long before and after her album releases. Other artists -- Katy Perry and Bruno Mars for example -- have been promoted in a more effective manner and have been far more successful. |

Does anyone know what the holdup is in announcing the Argentina or any other remaining South America concerts? Or has that whole idea been scrapped, and it is now just Rock in Rio? I do not think anything has changed. With a big event like RiR, it is typical to have promotional restrictions on the headliners. My guess is they have to put the second lot of Rock in Rio tickets on sale and sell them out before they announce any other QAL dates. We have seen this many times in the past, like when Adam was booked into Orange County for the GNT in 2010. ****  And I can't resist this..... I would never use "just" in front of Rock in Rio. This is about as big as a concert gets. |

I am of the thinking Gaga should get rid of the gimmick and the theatrics. And go back to her name. I think it well be very refreshing for her and her audience. Gaga is very talented and has a great voice, and can even play piano. But all her talent gets lost in all the hype. That's just me anyway. What I like about Adam is he continues to evolve and reinvent himself. I agree re KP and BM too. |

Tori Kelly...who has worked with Adam on TOH.....was on Ellen yesterday singing her new song "Nobody Love" which I love. Seems it's climbing up the BB charts...#74 now. I was wondering when Adam might be on Ellen....a few weeks after April 21 when hopefully Ghost Town in charting and rising......before or after Idol.....and when does Ellen go on hiatus?
